Introduction To The Peculiars

Everyone has their own peculiarity in them, big or small. Whether it's the ability to trill like a bird or open a tight bottle with ease, we're all special, in our own way. Some just don't know it. And then there are those who do..

Emma Bloom - as light as air ; needs to wear heavy shoes to stay on the ground.

Bronwyn Bruntley - a small girl, yet strong as ten men.

Victor Bruntley (deceased) - a strongarm, just like his sister, but he was killed by a Hollow.

Hugh Apiston - a boy filled up with bees, therefore he has a particular taste for honey.

Olive Elephanta - able to create fire with her bare hands.

Enoch O'Connor - can bring objects to life, such as wooden toy figures.

The Masked Twins - are able to read each-others' thoughts and turn people to stone just by looking at them.

Millard Nullings - Invisibility

Claire Densmore - Possesses a mouth at the back of her head, hidden by blonde curls.

Fiona Frauenfeld - Ability to make plants / nature grow at her will.

Siddelee Willows (An original character)  - able to capture photos with her mind, and print them out by kissing a piece of paper.

Laken Juliper (Original) - Seems to be made out of water only ; she can bend and stretch in incredible positions. Apart from this, she can also mimic extraordinary bird calls and noises.

Atlas Archer (Original) - Can glow in the dark.

Since their abilities don't fit in the outside world, these children live in secluded, secret places. One such place is located on a Welsh island, run by Alma Peregrine (known as Miss Peregrine to most).

Call them freaky, call them weird, these children are so much more than special. Your peculiar isn't who you are. YOU'RE who you are. Keep that in mind.

Thus, Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children was formed.
