RING, RING goes the alarm next to me! Shut up! God, trying to turn it off with my eyes half-open! That's better. 7:00AM and it's still pretty dark out there. Riiight. Time to get up, Jake! I got up off my bed and decided to take a nice quick shower before I head out to school today. Where's that 2-in-1 again? Of course, it's in the big top drawer right in front of me.
I went over to the drawer, took out the 2-in-1, picked up my towel which was right on top of it all dry and folded up and walked out of my room to quietly sneak past mum through the hallway to enter in the shower.
Turning both the light and shower switches on, I stripped the pyjamas off me and brought the 2-in-1 into the shower with me, door closed behind me. OK, this won't take long...I switched on the shower, adjusted the temperature and WOW!
Don't you love the feeling that you get once you're inside a nice hot steamy shower? I do too! Squirting out some of the two in one....rubbing it all over my hair and on the back of my head... Am rinsing it all off...
I saw one of those shower sponges there, squirted some of the 2-in-1 onto it and started to scrub all the dirt knots out of my "bits" until they were all gone.
10 minutes later and I am feeling super chilled but wide awake and fully alert thanks to the steamy shower sensation! I switched the shower switch off, got out, turned off the main shower switch near the door and started to dry myself with the towel I got from my room.
Of course, just because I'm leaving the bathroom, doesn't mean I should leave the window closed, right? Nah! After closing the window, with the towel wrapped around my midsection, I strolled down the hallway to head back into my not-so satisfying bedroom.
Temperature feels really different from what it feels like back in the bathroom. I switched on the light and finished drying myself up before putting on a fresh pair of pants and socks I later got out from the mini drawers. Next, along came a clean shirt I got out from the big drawers to button on me.
I picked up my trousers, slipped it on me before putting on a belt I got from the first big drawer on as well. Next, I slipped my tie on my shirt, followed by my jumper and let's not forget my school shoes to keep my feet nice and warm.
Looking at my hair...looks really bad. Good thing I have some of that Garnier Strength 4 stuff from a pound shop to keep my hair nice and in style! After styling my hair up, I lifted out the Hugo Boss aftershave and sprayed it all over me.
I am a sucker for Garnier and Hugo Boss these days. Now, that I'm all dressed up, time to eat a good breakfast. I quietly sneaked out of my room through the hallway, down the stairs to hit in the kitchen.
I opened up the kitchen curtains and turned on the light so that I can see in there. I feel like having some good porridge for breakfast right now. I brought down from the cereal cupboard this cool bag of jumbo oats before taking out our homemade dark cacao flavored almond milk.
I measured out the amount of oats I want to have in my bowl – which is 100g – before pouring in the almond milk and sticking it on the microwave for a good couple minutes. While it's cooking up, I lifted out one of my Tupperware containers to take some of last night's dinner out and bring it with me for lunch today.
In case you forgot what last night's dinner was, it was that spaghetti Bolognese that mum made. It was made with lean ground beef, all the veggies with it and brown pasta. I'm sure it tastes hella good when I think of it.
After taking it out of the fridge, I took off the tin foil off the top of the big bowl of spaghetti, took out a decent amount of the food with a pasta spoon and dropped it into the Tupperware before sealing it off with the lid and putting back the pasta in the fridge.
