Nothing much went on except I decided to stay in the room for the rest of the day, because I kinda felt bit uncomfortable about the stranger stalking me today. Well, the only time I left was when I needed a pee. Zara had been wondering where I was today. I told her about the Ryan Geoffrey situation and she understood because she used to date Ryan long ago.

I don't blame her for that. Even though I was in this dull quiet room all day, I had my iPod on. While nobody was watching, I had a good time listening to my tunes while getting through the hard work.

Also, I can't study on an empty stomach, right? My snacks and lunch from last night fuelled me up with even more brainpower to get the worksheets done.

OK, now that's it's five, that means I am outta here!!! Zara and I agree to meet up outside the entrance, better not keep her waiting! After setting my completed written work on Mr. Harris' desk, packed up my bag and started to walk out of here.

Before I could do that, I had to sign myself out from the reception. Next, off I go to meet my mate! Walking through the same double doors, I spotted my mate standing near one of the "thin trees". "Hey!" she said, happily. "Hi, ready to make that walk?" I asked her, with a smile on my face.

"Mmmm-hmmm! Lead the way!" she replied, as she walked over to me, with that sweet smile on her as we began to walk out of the school grounds via the main gates. We then turned left to go to the forest. "Forest should be this way. You're gonna like it." I said to her.

The sky might have darkened the whole town but that wouldn't keep the Trail of Lights in pitch black anytime. As we get a little bit more closer to the woods, we exchanged a little bit of a conversation.

"Here, is your mum or dad alright with you hanging out with me?" I asked her. "It's my mum and yeah she's alright, she's just making sure that I don't get into too much trouble, you know?" she replied. My Mum's kinda like that too.

"Same here." I said, opening the gate for us to enter the woods. "Is this it, Jake?" she asked me, eagerly. "Sure is! After you." I said, letting her in first before I do.

First impressions don't count a lot, that's where second impressions come in to play. As we advanced towards the very first set of lights in here, the look on Zara's face, I could tell that she is already intrigued by this beautiful atmosphere in the woods right now.

"Wow, this is...beautiful. I really love this!" said Zara, who is easily distracted by these glowing bad boys! "Jake, who came up with this?" She doesn't know much about this forest at all? Should tell her bit about that.

"This forest was made as a memorial service and resting place for those who died in the Blitz back in WWII. Soon as we get over that way, you may find something rather uncommon around here." I said, now that's short enough for Zara to hear about.

When I mentioned "something uncommon" to her, her eyes quickly drew from the beautiful glowing lanterns on the trees and over to me as we carried on walking. "Oh really? What is it then?" said Zara, while smiling at me. I don't know what's up with her tone, not that it's bothering me but I cannot tell if she's being friendly or flirty with me.

"Come with me and I will show you!" I said, holding her hand while we ran down the trail, schoolbags on our backs but we don't care! Finally, after a couple minutes of "night jogging", we came to the most important part of this forest: the Blue Rose.

We stopped to look at it. "Is that a rose or a tulip?" Zara asked me. "THAT is a rose, not just any other rose, but a Blue Rose." I said, showing her the flower. "Wow, I have never seen a Blue Rose before. Where did it come from?" Zara asked me.

"Kinda goes back like around 1800's. They said some mysterious gardeners came into these woods one day, one of them carrying some kind of magic seeds and planted them right here. A month after it grew, the Blue Rose would never die off. It even lived throughout the seasons!"
