More detention, great (!) I'm so frickin' annoyed that I'm in detention until summer. Well, hopefully Principal Gallagher will let me go early if I show signs of good behavior. I can't remember what dream I had but it's a good thing that I'm still breathing! I got up off my bed, tidied up my bedsheets and went over to the big drawers.
I've got a couple more shirts left and only another pair of trousers so that leaves me squared until I get them cleaned up over the weekend.
After I took out a clean shirt and pair of trousers, I slipped on the rest of my uniform bits and put my phone in my blazer pocket. Before I could leave my room, I opened up my window and curtains just to give it some fresh air.
I decided to take a wee peak through the window to look outside basically. Nobody out there save for a couple cars driving past the homes. I looked another direction to find a wee squirrel just roaming around the street looking for its nuts.
This weather out here doesn't change much since we're going to winter. I can't stop thinking about the fact winter's going to get pretty crazy cause of heavy snowfall. I'm feeling bit hungry, better go get some food!
Before I could leave the room, I grabbed out a bottle of Starbucks Plain Iced Coffee from my fridge. I sneaked past mum, who's like sleeping like a rock, through the hallway and down the stairs to walk into the kitchen to make the same breakfast I've been eating lifelong: choccy oats!
Sitting down the Starbucks drink, I lifted out the porridge from the cupboard, the chocolate almond milk and yoghurt from the fridge and of course I needed a bowl and spoon for this! What else I could have with this bad boy? I went over to the fruit plate by the sink and took a banana.
"Sorry, mum, but I'm stealing your fruit!" I whispered, jokingly as I went over to pick out some chopped frozen strawberries from the freezer before setting them and the banana down.
First goes in the bowl the oats, followed by the choco almond milk and nuking it in the microwave for a good couple minutes. Later, I took out the hot bowl, poured in more almond milk to make it a bit runnier before dumping a handful of frozen berries onto it.
Off goes the banana peel before chopping the naked banana up in slices with the spoon and letting them fall in the bowl. Finally to finish up this tasty breakfast: yogurt! I spooned out a dollop of the yogurt before putting the tub and the almond milk back in the fridge.
After I dumped the banana peel in the green food caddy-bin next to the back door behind me, I placed the frozen berries back in the freezer, picked up the bowl of choccy oats with the Starbucks and walked into the dining room.
Sitting on a chair in front of the kitchen door, I sat my breakfast down and took a wee picture of it with my iPhone. Next I mixed up all the stuff with the spoon before taking my very first spoonful...I am so into good food, it's like an addiction!
I know I haven't finished this bowl yet but the verdict of this is hella cool, but with the fruit and yogurt mixed into it: super yummy!!! I heard a wee buzzer going off my phone; I took it out of my pocket to find a wee Facebook Messenger notification from none other than Ms. Zara Brown!
I don't normally talk to Zara that much until like later on in the day until very late in the evening. But getting a wee message from her in the morning is unexpected but it should be good!
· ZARA BROWN: Good morning :) xxx
· JAKE MCDOWELL: Good morning to you too, did you sleep alright last night? :) x
