IAN'S POV
When I opened my eyes,the sun was already all over the room,making me cringe in discomfort. I tried to sit on the bed but I failed miserably as a wave of pain washed through my body.
'Fuck. It hurts like hell.' I mumbled,running my hand down my back. I turned my head so that I was facing Anthony. He had a sweet smile on his face and he seemed so happy that made me want to smile despite the really,really terrible awakening. I slowly leaned closer to him and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead. I was relieved though. Despite the initial fear I was genuinely happy to wake up next to him and enjoy his presence. It was one of those beautiful days without worries. Yesterday we had sex and even though I didn't really enjoy it, there will be time for that,I was just happy that finally we were able to deal with our relationship. I heard the bed sheets move and a small noise coming from Anthony's mouth. I looked at him with a big smile on my face and I happily greeted him.
'Good morning.' I breathed,leaning closer to him so that my lips were delicately touching his.
He kissed back just as delicately as I kissed him and he returned the smile. 'Good morning,beautiful. I'm so happy to see you here next to me.' He whispered.
'Why you think that?' I curiously asked,looking into his eyes.
'Well,I was afraid you'd run away from me after yesterday.' We both chuckled. I threw a pillow to him and shook my head.
'You douche.' He grinned and slid out of the bed,pulling on his boxers.
'Want some breakfast?' He asked,while heading to the door with his clothes in hands.
'Yes please. I'd like that.' I smile and bit my lip,looking at him admiringly and mentally slapping myself in the face for being so damn weak.
He grinned and gestured towards the hall. 'Come on then.' With that,he disappeared behind the door. I finally got up. I was about to grab some clothes,but I suddenly stopped as I heard my phone buzzing. I gently took hold of it and as soon as I read the text I panicked. I ran to the bathroom and locked the door. I re-read the message. I couldn't believe it. It was my ex girlfriend,Valerie.
'Hey,Ian. I know it's been a while since the last time we talk,but I really need to see you. I know it's really selfish from me,but I just…I just want to give us another chance. Valerie.'
What the hell am I gonna do now? Of course I suffered and missed her a lot after our break up,but now I was happy and I absolutely didn't want to go back to her. For me,it was over,but even though it was a stupid message,I didn't have the courage to tell Anthony and as soon as I heard him knock,I literally jumped almost dropping my phone in the toilet.
