Chapter 2

*****SKIPPING SOME YEARS BECAUSE I CAN*****

Alexander, John, and Eliza were starting their junior year of high school. They had spent almost every day of the summer together. Alex was very excited to get back to school; John and Eliza weren't as eager.

The Schuyler sisters pulled up to Christopher Jackson High in a Mercedes driven by Angelica, because they are very rich. John and Alex, who both took the bus, walked into the school at the same time the Schuylers were arriving.

"Eliza!" screamed John and Alexander in unison, running up to hug their friend.

"Not even going to say hello to me?" said Peggy, pretending to be offended.

"Peggy!" yelled John, picking up Peggy and twirling her around as she screamed with laughter. John and Peggy were very good friends. Many people might think they were dating, but Peggy's sisters and friends knew that she was very gay.

"How's it going, Angie?" asked Alexander. Angelica and Alexander had always had a special connection. They really understood each other.

"Not bad. You?" answered Angelica.

"I'm alright," replied Alex. The five of them walked into the school, where they met up with their other friends and then headed to class.

Eliza had known for a while that she was in love with her best friends. One day she decided she needed to tell them. She was very nervous, she thought it might ruin their friendship, but she also knew that she couldn't keep it to herself any longer. So she asked John and Alex to meet her at Starbucks after school.

The three friends walked into the Starbucks together, talking and laughing. Alex ordered a black coffee because he needed lots of coffee as he slept very little. John ordered a pumpkin spice latte, you know him, a little bit of cinnamon. Eliza ordered a salted caramel hot chocolate because they are very delicious. They sat down at a small table.

"Um, I need to tell you guys something," said Eliza nervously. John and Alex just nodded because the author didn't want to start another paragraph just so they could talk. "I'm in love," said Eliza. She didn't notice that when she said that John's grin became forced and Alex stopped smiling. "With both of you."

"Oh my gosh!" said Alex, his face lighting up. "Me too!"

"Wait, really?!" exclaimed John. "I thought I was the only one who felt that way!"

Eliza felt like she could fly, she was so happy. "That's amazing! I'm so happy you two feel the same way!"

"Well then," said Alex. "I know it's a bit... soon, but, would you two like to be--would you like to--all three of us--date?"

Eliza smiled. "I would love to."

John grinned brightly. "So would I."
