It was the only words that kept running through my head. Sami was pregnant. The reason that she was sick was that she was pregnant. And I did it.
"Hello, are you still there?" Tonya could out when the line went completely silent and she didn't know if Hoseok was still there
She was probably thinking, 'Did I lose him?
Am I alright?
Did I hear anything that she told me?
Oh yes, I did but what could I say?
"Can you hear me, Hoseok," she asked me breaking the dead silence between us.
I nodded my head, even though, I knew she couldn't see it, I was still here, just completely and utterly shocked at what I just heard and didn't know what to say next.
Right after that, Tonya just decided to go ahead and speak whatever was on her mind. "I know right now you don't have much to say and did not expect the outcome to happen. But Sami needs all of the support that she could get right now. Her parents died when she was still in grade school. So life hasn't been puppies and kittens for her. So if you thinking of doing the unthinkable, please don't she does not need any other negativity to fall in her life."
I listen carefully, taking in every word that Tonya told me. Everything that she said, I took it to heart but I still didn't know what to say. If I kept drawing a blank.
Finally, after another long, silence between us, I spoke. "Tonya is it possible if I can call you back."
Right after saying that, I abruptly ended the call before she could respond back to me.
