Chapter 1: Two Worlds Collide

Fia POV

I awoke in my room with a groan and turned off the sound of my alarm. No matter what sound it made, I ended up hating it. I looked at the clock and saw I had an hour to get ready for school. This will be fun.

I run into the bathroom and comb my long brunette hair until the bed head was cured. I then brushed my teeth and ran into my closet. I decided to keep it simple and grabbed a loose blue shirt, some black jeans and my favorite pair of socks. I looked at the clock again and saw that about half an hour left and went downstairs, slinging my white and blue backpack over one shoulder and taking the stairs two at a time. Once I got downstairs, I put my backpack on a chair and make a bowl of cereal. I grabbed my lunch out of the fridge and put it securely in my backpack. By time I came back to my cereal, it was breaking apart and soggy. Great.

I devoured the cereal against my will and slid on my new shoes. I had 10 minutes to get to Midnight High, go to my locker, and get to my 1st period.

I spread my white wings, and they glistened in the sunlight, making a temporary blinding light. Quickly, I pushed down hard with my wings and flew to the high school. I had an overview of the separation of the supernaturals on my way there, and located the sectors of Mage, Vampire, Werewolf, Demon, and my own personal sector, Angel.

I saw the landing zone for flying creatures and landed gracefully for a short period of time before I tripped on my face for trying to run too fast. I dusted myself off when I stood back up and entered through the Main Gate. I pulled out my schedule and went to my locker before going to Alchemy. Trying to rush, I closed my locker and walked towards my first class. Before I could take one step, felt terrible pain at my head and realized half of my hair was stuck in the locker. Darn long hair. I tried twisting my head to open my locker back but it was too painful to achieve. Luckily, I saw a guy walking down the hall in my direction and asked for him to help me.

"Hey!" I yelled, knowing he could hear me. "Can you help?"
He lightly chucked and approached me, examining the situation.

"I would love to help you, darling, but I don't have one essential thing," he smirked. At this point I was aggravated at the guy being no help whatsoever, and for an added bonus could joke about the situation.

"If you don't want to help, them just go away!" I yelled at him aggravated. Today was not the time to mess with me.

"I was just going to say I needed your locker combination," he smiles.

My face becomes red with embarrassment that I assumed he was just making fun of me.

"22-11-33," I said in a low voice. He then opened the locker with skill and helped to get my hair out of the hinges.

"Thank you, -". I paused, not knowing the guy's name.

"My name is Theo. You probably don't know my name because I'm a Demon,"Theo informed me. A demon helped me? I thought they were evil creatures,and also, two different Supernaturals weren't supposed to talk or become friends. "What's your name?" He rolled off his tongue nonchalantly.

"Its Fia," I said in a quiet voice and walked away. Why was he trying to continue talking to me, even though he knew I was an Angel? I'm not complaining though, because he was really hot- No! Can't be thinking these things. I'll just keep my head down for the rest of the day. Maybe it was all a dream, but I secretly knew what I felt was too real.

I entered the Alchemy class second to last, and took the last seat in the Angel section. To my surprise, Theo walks in last behind me and sits in the chair to the right of me, and I regretted the Angel and Demon sections being adjacent to each other.

For the rest of the class period, he stares at me with a curious look on his face. I listen to the teacher and shoot back quick, confused glances. What is his interest in me? He's already broken one of the major rules for Supernaturals and is close to breaking more. I just hope he's not in anymore of my classes.

All of my hope went down the drain as he was in all my classes, even my electives. In my 8th period, Supernatural History, the teacher reviewed the laws of the government, and I gave him a death look as she reviewed the major laws that stated Supernaturals aren't supposed to talk, befriend, or mate outside their sector. After that, he finally took the hint and looked off in the distance. I really hope I don't have to deal with him anymore after today. If he doesn't, I'm going to have to report him.

After school, I flew back to my house and thought back to Theo. Everything was fine until I meet him. Why does he have to complicate things? Life was perfect, and I was going to be extra focused at my studies this year. He better not mess that up, or he will get messed up. As I drifted off to sleep, Theo invaded my dreams.

There was a knock at the door, so I curiously went to answer it. It was Theo, and I almost couldn't stand up at the sight of him. He immediately came in and took me to my bedroom. I caressed his muscles, and I asked him to remove his shirt. I traced the lines by his pecs and his hard 6 pack. Immediately, his opaque wings shot out, covering my bed. He grabbed my neck gently, and without force, I put my lips on his and-

I screamed, and woke up panting. No one was in the house because my parents were on a business trip. I've only known him for one day, and he is already invading my dreams. I'm terrified for what might happen this year at Midnight High.

Author's Note

Just so you guys know, the Supernaturals' World is modeled after Earth, so they can keep up with the progress of it. Also, when Theo shot out his wings, it also means he's turned on. And don't think their turned on everytime, because it will have MULTIPLE meanings.
