Agony (Chapter 13)

My eyes grew heavy with tears as I looked up to find the sorce of the small frail voice that had spoken out. My eyes fixated onto a a tall, baby pink haired, teal eyed, woman. My heart skipped beats as if it were going to stop entirely. I felt rage boil beneath my skin and all in the same I felt helpless and alone.

"Sunset, do you need a hug?" Her voice was scarce but loud enough for me to hear. She slowly walked over and encased me in her arms, laying her weight off of me. I wrapped my arms around Flutters and let my tears fall onto her chest. A good while passes before my crying slowed to a stop and we had seperated.

Fluttershy was about to speak when I had stood off the bed and told her that I didn't know why I was crying. I began to slowly tread down the stairs untill I heard giggling from the living room.

"So then I told my mom that I couldn't be a smartass if I was already..."

"A dumbass." Rainbow had cut Kar off and everyone in the room had burst out into contagious laughter. I heard Twilight's beautiful laugh and it gave me just a bit of hope. I sat on the stairs, out of sight, out of mind. I just sat there listening in on their conversations and I pictured myself by Twilight's side.

"Sunset." I felt someone grab my wrist and pull me up. Their grip was tight and firm as hell I couldn't get loose. Had I fallen asleep? "Sunset it's me, Kar." Kar's voice was shaking and I could feel it crack. I pryed my eyes open and saw both of hers staring directly at me. Both eyes had markings in them, her right eye had two and her left eye had one.

"Kar...? Y-you're not..?" My voice was stuck deep in my throat as my tounge wouldn't allow anymore words to slip. I was scared enough that I didn't question her or pay attention to anything else around me for a good while. I just watched as her eyes started to turn completely black.

"Do you have any other way to get home?" Kar's was trying to sound stable which only made har sound mad. I shook my head and stood up but feel back a bit as my legs were asleep. Kar seemed to have noticed and she picked me up in her arms and started to walk out of Rainbow's house. I watched as all of the girls looked at us with sad, guilty, and regretful expressions. I made eye contact with everyone but when my eyes met Twilight's I felt as if she'd known something I didn't.

"So what was all of that?" I asked Kar as she put me in the drivers seat of her truck and moved around to the passenger's side.

"Do you want to be the first thing I banish to my most unholy throne if I don't calm down?" She was only half joking, she wouldn't banish me there. "Sorry Sun, I just need to calm bloody down."

"It's okay Kar." I turned the engine over and reversed out of the driveway, and started to drive to my apartment. "What happened?" Kar seemed to chuckle in a way that made me want to drive to the nearest place with straight jackets.

"Pierwszy twi zapytał mnie, co moje prawdziwe imię i to gdzie jest mój ojciec. Byłem na tyle dobrze, aby panować nad sobą, ale wtedy, gdy zapytała, dlaczego miałem znak markowy w uszach, a ona je dotknął ją stracił." Kar seemed to smirk as if she'd just won something.

"Kar, I know your accent is a cool Irish Brittish hybrid thing but I don't speak Irish."

"I wasn't speaking Irish." This caught my attention as I was trying to not yell at everyone in traffic."

"Then what were you speaking." Odly Kar sighed contently and looked at me with a sparkle in her eyes. She opened her mouth to speak but I cut her off.
