"Lanny what's a Queen?" Little Naluna was crawling closer to her brother, her eyes shining with curiosity, as he was starting the story. "Nally, are you going to constantly interrupt me? if so I won't continue these stories...." He glanced at her with a faux mad face. The young girl stopped dead and looked up at him with tears in her eyes, "Sorry..." she sat down, still as she could, and gave full attention to her brother.

"Okay," Clearing his throat before continuing, "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful Queen by name of Luna and a Brilliant King named Sol. Queen Luna ruled the night on one side and King Sol ruled the day on the other. Both rulers were lonely with no one to rule by their side. The Queen was very lonely, she had no husband and no children, only her loyal subjects. She longed for someone to be at her side, but no one suited her so she continued on alone hoping to find someone to love. The King was also without a suitor and longed for children to continue to provide for his loyal subjects, but having no one to stand by his side made this impossible. Many long and lonesome years passed on until the Queen heard news of a beautiful kingdom on the other side. She left the night to experience this beauty for herself and entered the day. She had heard of this kingdoms ruler and of his brilliance, but only after seeing him standing their, watching him watch over his kingdom, could she truly understand those words. He was more beautiful than any thing in existence and could not believe that he could be experiencing the same loneliness that she was. Slowly she peeked her head into his kingdom only to be frozen by his light. Unable to leave, she inched closer and closer until she built up the courage to face him directly. As soon as their eyes met they fell deeply in love, casting a brilliant shadow over the kingdom. After spending more time with him, the King announced their unity to all. Both kingdoms, however, were not pleased. Upon the Queens return to her own lands, her once loyal subjects had lain a trap that sent her and trapped in the skies above never to leave. The King was also being punished by his subjects, who allowed him to watch as his only love was forever trapped in the sky. After the show they blocked his view of her casting a red shadow onto her. Angered, the King moved them and left for his Queen. He tried to join her in the sky, but got trapped on the other side, forcing them apart forever. Every so many years, they are able to meet in the sky. The Queen couldn't stand the loneliness and the King needed a successor so he blessed the Queen with children, only to discover that they too were trapped in the night sky. The King, Queen and their children are still looking over the chaos their kingdoms have become in hopes that one day one of their children will be able to leave the sky and bring peace to the kingdoms."

Naluna looked shocked as she put the pieces together. Her puzzled look quickly replaced by an upset one, "Pellkarus! Are you insinuating that I am not from this world... this Planet? Am I to believe that those stories that Bulan was really telling of our parents and a secret prophecy? That I fell from the stars? I don't think I believe that." She only seemed to stop when the air emptied from her lungs. Her anger seemed to again fade back to curiosity when she noticed the serious look in Pell's eyes. "I thought those stories were nothing but folk lore and fairy tales.. Never would I have guessed there to be anything real about them. This is quite bizarre." A few minutes passed as she waited for a reply from Pell. He looked thoughtful for a few more minutes then sighed a long and deep sigh.

"Miss Naluna, as you know, you and Master Bulan are the only two in your family. Have you ever met another? Another brother? Sister? Aunt? Uncle? No, not even of parents. You and Master Bulan fell from the sky when you were just a baby. He raised you alone right here in this house with nothing and no one but me to assist." Pell stopped and raised his eyes to Naluna's with tears forming in both pairs. She quickly pulled him into a small hug, "Oh Pell... I know... I miss him too." She held the cat in her arms for a few minutes longer before releasing him.

Shaking her head as if to banish the sad thoughts, she stood up and straightened her dress. Before heading for the door, She quietly placed the pillow she still held back on the bed and whispered a goodbye. Turning away from the bed she walked out of the room with Pell right behind her. Walking across the hall and entering her own bedroom, she gave her arms a good long stretch and turned to Pell who had calmly hopped onto her small bed, "So.. What is this Power I hold?"
