JORDAN'S P.O.V

Chelsea and I decided to just take Kris and let Nuge and Hallsy go eat lunch. By now it was noon and I knew they would be hungry. We also knew it wouldn't take us long because we sorta know more then them. We were just going to meet up with the boys because they were right around the block at a deli. Chelsea and I walked into the baby store and started shopping. First up was the stroller. We picked out a blue one with white trimmings. Then we went to cribs. We decided on the car ride there that Kris would be playing hockey. And that his room theme will be orange, blue, an white. Chelsea was okay with both ideas. I was so happy because she was going to be his mother. We found a crib. It's wood was white. The lining inside was blue. Then Chelsea went to the baby clothes section while I went to the high chairs. I found a white high chair that had orange trimmings this time.

CHELSEA'S P.O.V

I walked over to the baby clothes because I knew Kris needed clothes. He was 6 months old. I bought clothes for 7-9 months. They will be biggish now. But perfect later. After about 20 minutes over at the clothes I walked over to Jordan.

"Hey. What are you looking for now?" I asked him while I walked up behind him. At this point Kris was getting antsy and was starting to fuss. I took Kris out of his carseat and started to hold him.

"I'm looking for changing station." Jordan then replied. He then pointed to one. It was adorable. "I actually was just looking around and I found the perfect one. It is Edmonton Oilers themed." I knew that we would get that one because it will bring the room all together. We were going to keep his room white but I was going to go in and paint the Edmonton Logo on one wall. Then we are going to paint one wall blue with a strip of orange. Much like the home jersey. Then we are going to get the whole team to come over and paint their signatures and numbers. It will look so cute! I can't wait!

"It's perfect! I am going over to get him toys and formula." I then told Jordan. I made sure that Jordan knew he was the one with the carseat, but I was the one with Kris.

"Ok. I will finish with the furniture!" Then I saw that Jordan made a list of all the furniture we needed. He was really going to be a great dad! He had checked off high hair, stroller, change station, and crib. The last few things we needed were trash can and rocking chair. I was going to get the other little accessories that he didn't really know about. I grabbed the automatic rocker. It was white with orange trimmings. Then I got an automatic swing that was white and blue trimmings. I then got a black baby carrier. Then I found a the Vera Bradley section. I was looking and looking then I found it...an Edmonton Oilers Vera Bradley diaper bag! I was so happy they actually had gotten the order in because it was yesterday I ordered it. It was pricey but definitely worth it! I then grabbed a few packs of diapers. I the grabbed the Oilers bib! The last thing I needed to grab was bottles and I pacifier and then a clip. I think we got everything. I am so happy.

"Hey Jordan. I got everything I need. What about you?" I asked him while walking up to him.

"I finished too. Lets go check out." I was following Jordan when I remembered something...two things actually.

"Umm I'm going to help pay. And either Nuge or Hallsy needs to drive the truck over here so we can pack everything." I said while loading Kris back into the orange and blue car seat. It was perfect. Everything was. Our room designs and this little boy!

"No you are not! You are fine! But I already texted them they are coming now." Jordan then said while handing the cashier his credit card. I wasn't going to argue with him because I knew it wouldn't help. So I didn't. Then the total came up. $1,599.00 my God!

"I'm helping. Ma'am will you split it and put half on mine?" I asked the lovely lady. Her response really shocked me.

"No. I'm sorry. I was assigned to Mr. Eberle. He told me I wasn't allowed to take your money or card. I'm sorry." That was really sweet of Jordan but I really felt bad letting him pay. We then left. I took Kris out to the truck and handed him to Taylor. I then went back in and helped Jordan and Ryan with the bags and boxes. We got everything loaded when my stomach grumbled. I was hungry. Then Jordan started saying "Chelsea, Kris is crying. What should I do? I don't know what's wrong" It was sweet he was so concerned. I just walked around to where Taylor was and grabbed Kris out of his carseat. "It's okay. He is just hungry. And so am I!" I knew we were headed to lunch. So I didn't complain. "Can we walk?" I asked the guys all nodded their heads. I was happy because I felt like a walk. I grabbed some formula and a bottle. And held it while I held Kris. I then grabbed the pacifier and the clip and put it on Kris. It was an Edmonton oilers clip, so it was super cute! I grabbed the bib. Then Jordan came over with the carseat and took the formula and bottle. He walked beside me while Ryan and Taylor walked behind us talking. Jordan put the bottle and formula in the carseat. He was being really helpful and sweet. We were about 5 minutes away from the deli when Kris started getting really antsy. Next thing I knew he was crying. I was bouncing him up and down, but nothing was working. Jordan put down the carseat and took Kris. He then started throwing him in the air like he did in the bedroom. Kris then started laughing. I was so glad Jordan did that because it calmed my baby down. It was adorable seeing them interact like that. We began walking again and next thing I knew we were at the deli. I was so glad because I was starving, and I could tell Kris was too.
