Chapter 12: WINGS!!!

Kairi jumps up and falls off her bed. "...ow..." She gets up and when she's about to make her bed there's....feathers on it. "What the heck? Maybe a pillow ripped open? UGH!! Whatever now I have to clean it." She complained and starts to pick up the feathers. "Wow....since when did the pillows have brown feathers? I thought they're supposed to be white..oh well."
Few moments later
"FINISHED!! HOLY CRAP THAT TOOK LONGER THAN IT SHOULD HAVE!!"
"Kairi! Breakfast is ready!" Her dad called from downstairs.
"OK DAD!!" She called back. "Alright well I'll keep the feathers for Ruth, and.....*sigh* I don't think Grayson and Drake will be checking on me so I'll just play video games...alone." Kairi said as she gets out her room and goes downstairs
"So dad what's for breakfast?"
He turns to Kairi. "It's your fav-" his eyes widen and drops a empty glass, "-orite."
"Um you alright dad? It's looks like you've seen a ghost?"
"...m-m-maybe i-i-it's th-the w-w-wings." He stuttered and points at the mirror.
"Wings? Why would-?" She looks at the mirror behind and saw.....what her father is talking about.
"...no....it was just a dream...it's not real I'm going to wake up soon this is just a dream it's not real I don't have wings!"
"Kairi...." He walks to her. "I-it's ok everything's going to be alright..." He puts his hand on her shoulder but then a strong pulse forcefully pushed him away from her.
"ARGH!"
"DAD!! I'm so sorry I.....oh no oh no now I have to- and I might- NO NO!" The mirror shatters and she falls to her knees crying.
"Kairi!" He hugs her. "It's okay it's okay....just calm down..."
Few minutes later Kairi finally calms down.
"Now Kairi...you have to tell me everything...so I can be there for you and help you...."
".....ok....I'll tell you everything..."
