Chapter 5:

Ruby POV:

We arrive at the lake, set down the bag of towels, as well as the bag of food. Hayes and I lay the towels down on the vibrant green grass, then lay on our own towels. Nash and Zack go straight into the water, and begin to swim far out into the lake.

"So, exactly how long have you lived in the USA for?" Hayes asks me

"Well, we moved here about a year ago I think, but I was homeschooled for a while until I settled down into dance, as that is my priority over school. I know that sounds crazy but I have never been very good at school, and dance just comes naturally to me; so my mum and i figured we should just focus on my training and hopefully attend the best dance school in the country, from there I want to become professional, doing movies, music videos for celebrities, and maybe even a Broadway Star!!" I explain to him

"Wow!! Sounds like you have your whole life planned out" He says sounding impressed

"Yeah, so, what is it you want to do?"

"Well, if this whole internet star thing wears off i plan on just working for the rest of my life; but at the moment I am getting so many paid opportunities that I am in no position to need to work" He says

"Wow, you know I wish I could say I have seen your videos, but I havn't i'm sorry"

"Don't apologise, haha its not like I expect everyone in the world to have seen them"

"Well I promise i will go home tonight and watch them all!!" I assure him

"Haha, good luck with that, there are hundreds of them. Between Vine and YouTube, it would take you forever to be able to watch all the videos" He says

"Well, I will watch as many of them as I can"

"If you want to; so, do you want to go in?" He asks

"Definitely!" I say

I strip down from my bikini top and shorts to my bikini bottoms and top. Hayes just takes off his shirt, as he put is shorts on back at home; he had the best body!

Hayes POV:

I asked Ruby if she wanted to go in the water, she agrees and takes of her pants to reveal her bikini bottoms, she already had the top on. I can't believe her physique, its just stunning, she is so gorgeous!!

"Lets go!" she says with excitement

We both walk the short distance to the water and swim out a little so the water is at about our chests.

"Ahhhh, its so nice!" she says

"Its perfect" I say

I look out onto the lake and see Zack and Nash swimming toward us, they were only about 20 meters away.

"Hey guys, were going to jump out and head back to Nash' place, did you want to stay here or are you going to head off with us?" Zack asks

"Uh, I think were good here, see ya's" I answer

"Alright, well we will just take our towels with us, you guys can keep the food" Zack then replies

"Sounds good" I answer him

"Hayes, I'm going to take your car if you don't mind?"

"Yea whatever I answer"

The guys both leave and start to walk home, Ruby stay, bobbing around in the water talking about pretty much everything in the world; our families, backgrounds, old friendships, until we came across a more interesting topic, relationships.

"So, have you ever had a boyfriend?" I ask her

"Uh, no, not exactly, I mean I have liked people, and had 'boyfriends' in primary school, but as you would probably know they never went anywhere" she says

"Right, thats pretty much the same for me; except this one girl I dated. I met her at a Magcon meet and greet one time and we really hit it off. Anyway we exchanged numbers and talked for a while, then we ended up dating for about 3 months, until she went crazy and spread my number to the world, exposed things about me that I didn't want the whole world to know, so that was the end of that" I explain
"Wow! So, are you still dating or do you avoid it?" She asks
"Uh, I am open to dating" I answer "What about you?"
"Uh, well, I'm opening up to it" She answers "I feel like I would just have to get to know the person pretty well before I date them, I don't know I just don't understand the people who can date people who they just meet"
"I don't know, there are some situations where I could understand" I say looking at her with a smirk
"I, I guess" she says smiling at me
