Chapter 7: To Dance We Go!

After a while of swimming and hanging out in the water we decided to head home. We both picked up the towels and food and started to walk. When we finally arrived home, we decided to watch a movie. Ruby and I went upstairs to her room, we both sat on the bed which was positioned long ways against the back wall, and the TV was sitting on the wall in front of us. There was plenty of room on the double bed for the both of us to sit; when she sat down and leant against the wall, I grabbed the TV remote and sit next to her on the bed.

"What do you want to watch?" I ask

"I don't mind, anything is fine" She says

"What about 'Saw', it's a thriller?" 

"Uh, I have never seen a thriller, I've been too scared to watch them myself" 

"Lucky you're not along then isn't it?" 

"I guess, yeah lets do it" 

"Cool! Don't be scared, I will hug you" I says with a smile on his face

I put on the movie then go and sit by her on the bed, very, very close to her on the bed. 

The movie starts playing and I am really intrigued in the film. By the first scene she was shitting herself, I was so scared but she was trying not to let me see that she was scared already. I looked over at Ruby and could tell she was already shit scared of this movie, so I bring her closer to me, and she wrapped both of her arms around my right arm, the one closest to her; I kind of liked it.

We were about half way through the movie when I noticed she wasn't hanging onto my arm as tight; she had fallen asleep with her head resting on my shoulder.

I later got a text from Nash;

"Hey bro, Zack and I are gonna stay here for the night... you comin home or are you gonna stay there?" It read

"Hey man, yeah I will stay here the night, I don't think she would really want to stay here the night alone"

"Yeah that's cool, text ya in the morning" he says

"Sounds good" I reply

For the next half an hour or so I just sit in the bed while Ruby was still leaning on my shoulder asleep. Not long later she wakes up, its about 3:15pm.

"Oh my gosh... what is the time?" she asks me

"Uh, its 3:30pm" I say

"Shit, I have to be at dance by 4" she says hysterically.

"Oh, well do you want me to take you?" I ask her

"I'd like that" she says

She races over to her chest of draws by the window, bends down to the bottom double draw and slides it open in a rush.

Ruby POV:

When I woke up from falling asleep during the movie it was 3:30pm, which made me nervous because I had to be at dance by 4, which was a 15 min drive away. I quickly went over to my draws and slid open the bottom one; I picked out a red crop top and a pair of black booty shorts with footless dance stockings. I grabbed my dance bag and took it downstairs; Hayes followed behind me. I grapped the keys off the bench and we walked out the door.

"Want me to drive?" Hayes asks

"Yeah sure" I say

I put my bag on the passenger side backseat, Hayes jumped in the driver seat and I sat in the front beside him.

"So Nash texted before" he says, "He said that he and Zack are going to stay the night at mine".

"Oh okay, so are you going to go home or did you want to stay here?"

"Well, would you mind if I stayed the night?"

"Not at all, that would be fun!"

About 5mins later, we arrived at dance. Hayes walked me in and I showed him around the studio.

"This is studio 1, the main studio... this is where I am most of the time," I explain to him from the viewing room, which looked in on the room of younger students practicing.

"Would you mind if I stayed a while?" Hayes asks

"Not at all, but you might get bored?" I reply

"I'm sure I wont" Hayes then says
