PROMPT- Preston can't sleep

  A bright light is suddenly in my view. I struggle to open my eyes as I try to adjust to the light. I reach around hoping to find the source of the light disturbing my sleep.
"Viiiiik, I can't sleep."I turn my head only to witness Preston with tousled hair and red eyes. I throw a sleepy smile and lean my head on his shoulder.
"Want warm milk" I mumble as I slip back into unconsciousness.
"I don't know...I'll guess I'll try" he replies as he starts to get out of bed and I am jolted awake.
I wrap my arms around his waist and pull on him slightly tighter. "Nuuu, don't leave."
"But you- I didn't actually want you to" I feel him slowly get back into bed and wrap his arms around me. I snuggle into his chest and I feel him start to relax. I slowly rub the top of his hand with my thumb in hope of calming him into a peaceful rest. His breathing starts to even out and soon I hear the slight noise of his snoring. I smile softly  into his chest and drift of to sleep.

Sorry it's so short. But it's my first ever one shot and post so I hope you enjoy it.
