"Sunbaenim...wae geurae-seyo? (why are you like this?)?", Amber said while trying to move away from Donghae. Her action only made him move closer and he slowly wrapped his hands around her waist.

She tried to resist but somehow maybe half of herself actually wanted them to be that away, so, eventually she just allows him to hug her from the back.

Suddenly, Amber felt Donghae's warm hand reaching for hers.

"Can you just call me Hae? You know...without the sunbaenim?", Donghae voice was low and clear. She gulped.

"Ha..Hae...", Amber stuttered. Donghae smiled in the dark. He closes his eyes and his thumb unconcsciously keep on rubbing onto Amber's hand.

Amber moved her hand away since she was not confident in restraining herself when he does that. However, few seconds later, Donghae's hand found hers again. This time, he was just holding it.

"Thanks God.", Amber mumbled and took in a deep breath.

10 minutes passed and Amber could hear a soft snore. She smiled and finally rest her eyes.

"Did I miss anything last night?"

Amber's eyes widened immediately. JACKIE! She did not want her sister to misunderstand things between Donghae and her.

Amber turned around just to find Donghae was no longer on the bed.

"Eh? Did he woke up already?", Amber sounded quite disappointed. She thought she will be able to see his sleeping face but now, he's already awake.

"Well, it's a good thing though... since Jackie will not be suspicious of anything.", Amber rubbed her eyes and stretched her body.

"Sis! Wake up! Donghae oppa had prepared breakfast!", Jackie voice echoed around the house.

"Tsk... oppa...", Amber rolled her eyes feeling slightly annoyed by the fact that Jackie calls him oppa. Then, she moved on to the bathroom and got herself ready.

She lazily walks down the stairs and head to the dining table.

"Hae... Only half cup of milk...", Amber said in a sluggish way to Donghae who is pouring milk into cups.

Jackie leaned in immediately. "No respective forms. What happened to your sunbaenim?" She raised her eyebrows in suspicion.

Amber touched the back of her neck anxiously.

"Maybe she feels comfortable calling me that. It's okay noona, I don't mind.", Donghae said as he placed the cups on the table.

"Excuse me boy? You told me to call you that last night.", Amber thought to herself and her jaws dropped in disbelief.

"Half cup...", Donghae said as he pushes the cup to Amber. Amber gave him a deadly stare. Donghae just gave an innocent smile and started digging in. Amber tilt her head in confusion.

"Was last night a dream?", Amber thought to herself as she looks at the food placed in front of her, then to Donghae who is happily chatting away with Jackie.

"Amber, what are you staring at? Start eating idiot...", Jackie nudged her. Amber nods her head and started eating.

"Oppa... do take care of my sis! She's quite troublesome sometimes.", Jackie said and Amber immediately respond with a punch. Donghae just giggled at how cute their relationships are.

As they board the plane, Amber was feeling slightly awkward since she's still in a state of confusion. Donghae on the other hand was layback and acted like nothing was wrong.

"Are we back to sunbae-hoobae (senior-junior) relationship?", Amber's heart wanted to ask him but all she could do was keep the question deep in her heart.

"Omg..he is indeed handsome... but who's that beside him?"

"Nah.. who cares... he won't have such low taste."

"Hey look at him... He looks cool eventhough he's just playing with his phone."

"Hahaha... he's ignoring the girl beside him... strangers maybe.."

Amber could hear whispers around her as people starts noticing Donghae. She glanced at him and Donghae was just acting normal, still fiddling with his phone.

"Yea... that's how far he is from me. He's always the centre of attraction wherever he goes.", Amber eyes filled with tears as her head was filled with thoughts like that. She turns her head and look at the clouds, trying her best to avoid her tears from falling.

"Even the weather is gloomy...", she blurted out without intending to. Donghae stops playing his phone instantly.

"You're more fragile than I thought. I'm sorry. I thought you would not be hurt by small things (people whispering around them) like that.", Donghae said as he reached out his hand and turns her head to face him.

He felt an immediate stab in his heart as he saw how hurt she looked and the fact that her eyes were wet with tears.

He leaned in slowly and their lips finally met each other. His fingers were at her chin and when she tried to push him away, he grabbed her hand and pushed it to the side.

"Shits... is she his girlfriend?"

"What the hell... why did he chose such...."

The tears that Amber hold back finally wets her cheeks. "Stop playing with my feelings...", Amber said as his lips leave hers.

Donghae felt shocked by what he just heard. He did not realised that his way of protecting her by feigning ignorance will come to her as him just playing with her feelings.

Both Donghae and Amber just kept quiet throughout the flight after that.

From far, Amber could see Scott waving. She walked towards him and gave an awkward smile. Donghae headlocked him and whispers, "How could you not tell me that she's not actually leaving!?".

"I'm helping you guys... So... any progress?", Scott whispers back. Donghae just let go of Scott and bit his lower lips.

"I'll leave first.", Donghae said and walked off.

"Hyung... I can send...you too...", Scott shouted but Donghae just kept on walking.

"How was it Amber?", Scott ask as he loads her stuff in the car.

Amber kept quiet and Scott did not ask further. When they finally reached her dorm, Amber unfasten her seatbelts and went in.

"Was it a wrong step? I thought they would be closer by now...", Scott mumbled to himself as he drives the car back to his dorm.

"I'm sorry Amber. I did not meant to hurt you.", Donghae mumbled as he hits the pillow.
"I hate you Hae..for playing with my feelings like this.", Amber mumbled as she hits the pillow.
