Chapter 19 – Let the Games Begin!
When Miyuki neared the hall where room 301 was, she smelt Kakashi along with three others that she did not recognize though she could tell that two were female and one was male. She turned the corner and found that she was indeed correct. Kakashi stood leaning up against the wall talking with a man who appeared to be in his early thirties. The man had hay colored hair that hung loosely around his shoulders and down a third of his back. He wore the typical shinobi attire that Kakashi often wore but with a green scarf wrapped snuggly around his neck.
Off to the side were the two females that Miyuki had also smelt. The two were identical in appearance and almost in smell, allowing Miyuki to conclude that the two were twins around the age of fifteen. The girls had long curly, dark maroon red hair that reached to the middle of their backs. Their eyes were a lovely shade of light baby blue. Both girls also wore the exact same outfit; A short black kimono styled top with white butterflies, a maroon sash that matched their hair tied around the waist to hold the top closed, black spandex pants that reached their thighs with bandages covering any skin from the shorts to their knees, and finally a pair of simple black shinobi sandals.
Miyuki approached the group quietly until she stood only a few feet from them. “Good afternoon, Kakashi-sensei…” Miyuki spoke, drawing the fours attention to her.
“Oh! Hello Miyuki-chan,” Kakashi greeted. He looked behind her for a split second to see that she and Kaminari had come alone. “Where are the others?”
Miyuki sighed, “Fighting…” Kakashi raised his only visible eyebrow at Miyuki’s statement. “A boy by the name of Rock Lee challenged Sasuke-kun to a fight before the exam.”
“Rock Lee? What does he look like?” Kakashi questioned.
“Ah…He wears a green spandex body suit, a bowl cut hair style, and bushy eyebrows…”
Kakashi and the three unknown people sweat-dropped at the description Miyuki gave. “That sounds….all too familiar….” Kakashi mumbled. Miyuki giggled though she wondered what he meant. However, she chose not to ask. Miyuki had a feeling she would probably find out eventually anyways. “Anyways…Miyuki there’s something I need to discuss with you…but first…” Kakashi looked over to the other male as he trailed off.
“Let us introduce ourselves,” the man smiled, “My name is Enomoto Shinya. I’m the sensei of these two lovely ladies…” Shinya motioned for the two girls to introduce themselves to Miyuki.
One girl smiled shyly at Miyuki and bowed. “H-hello, I am Shimizu Akiha, the youngest twin,” she spoke softly. The girl reminded Miyuki of Hinata somewhat with her shyness and stutter at the start. But Akiha didn’t seem nowhere near as bad as the Hyuga girl.
The second girl also smiled, but compared to her sister’s it was much more confident. “Hi! I’m Shimizu Akahana, the older twin! I hope you don’t have too much trouble telling us apart!”
Miyuki returned their smiles with her own. She also bowed like Akiha as she introduced herself as well. “A pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am Tukiko Miyuki and she,” Miyuki gestured toward the black wolf pup on her shoulder, “Is Kaminari, my partner.” Miyuki then gave a small laugh as she added on, “Don’t worry. I can already tell the difference between the two of you, Akahana-san.”
The twins blinked in surprise. The two men weren’t as surprised as the girls. Kakashi already figured that Miyuki could find the difference between them within just minutes of meeting them. Shinya, however, was already familiar with the Tukiko clans abilities as he had worked alongside a few members before on previous missions so the man knew Miyuki wouldn’t have any trouble telling the two apart. “You can?” the two girls questioned in unison.
