Dan woke up quickly. His eyes darting open after feeling someone's arms around him.
Phil? He thought, a smile appearing on his face.
His smile dropped when he saw the American cuddling him instead. He sighed and tried to move, but realised he couldn't because of the younger male being wrapped around him.
"Frank?" Dan whispered softly, after whispering, he noticed the American's eyes slowly fluttering open.
"Morning Dan.." he yawned "You okay?"
"Yeah." Dan answered "I just ah..need to get up."
"Oh." Frank mumbled as he unwrapped himself from the British man "Sorry"
"It's fine." Dan stated, climbing over Frank to get off the short couch and to head to the bathroom.
Dan walked into the bathroom and took out his phone to call his best friend, and crush, Phil.
As he waited for Phil to answer, he heard Frank start humming some MCR song. His humming was nice. But Dan tried to block it out.
"Hello?" Phil answered
"Phil!!" Dan said
"Oh, hi Dan!" Phil replied "How's everything going at Frank's hou-
"It's weird!!" Dan whispered angrily "He's been referencing the most cringiest moments of my life!! And he keeps blasting My Chemical Romance when I'm trying to sleep!! I had to kiss him yesterday to stop it!!"
"Wait.." Phil paused "you...kissed him?"
"Well...Yes...but-
"I'm sorry Dan..I need to go." Phil said, sounding like he was holding back tears "You can tell me later.."
"But Phi-
"You can tell me later I said.."
Phil hung up the phone. Leaving Dan worried.
Was Phil nearly crying?
He thought
Did..did I just ruin my chance of ever being with Phil?
Dan snapped out of his spiral of thoughts after hearing knocks on the door.
"You okay in there Dan?" Frank asked
"Y-Yeah.." Dan answered "I'm..fine..."
"Okay." Frank replied "Well breakfast is on the table. You can eat when you're ready."
"Thanks.." Dan mumbled, looking at the door. He looked at the mirror and took a deep breath. He couldn't let his feelings towards Phil get to him. He had to pretend that he liked Frank now.
