scared hearts

chapter two : rescue

as they all sat round on the floor of the warbler room waiting for the police to come for sebastian none of then were talking instead they were all focused on sebastian who was looking sweaty now.

" an officer is coming" blaine said as somw of them moved nearer the window to watch as the officer got nearer they all started to feel better then as the officer got around four feet from the window he was shot he fell to the floor. rachels hands flew to her mouth as kurt hugged her she couldnt believe this was happening. as she sat there still stwring at the fallen officer sebastian started to gasp everyone crowded around them.

" sebastian" hunter said

" it hurts" sebastian said he was sweating like hell.

" we need to get the bullet out" blaine said his father was a doctor

"we cant"thad said

" we have to it could have a metal that causes blood poisioning which is dangerous.

" but how" trent said freaking out.

" where is my hand bag" rachel asked she had it when she gotmto the warbler room

" here" kurt said rachel opened her purse and took out her nail care pack whixh had tweasers she went to hand them too hunter.

" no you do it" sebastian said to her

"i cant" rachel said

" yes you can i trust you" sebastian said rachelmoved closer to him she removed the rags covering his bullet wound a few of the warbler gasped as they saw it rachel tried to not show any reaction she didnt want sebastian to be more worried than he already was. she slowly lowered the tweasers and tried several times before she managed to get hold of the bullet once she did she slowly pulled it out. hunter has his hanky ready for her to put it him butvshe put in in the now blood stained rags and used his hanky on sebastians wound she was pressing down as hard as sh could without breaking a bone atleast she hoped she wasnt breaking a bone. the other warblers handed her their hankies which she used.

" see i told you that you could do it" sebastian said panting.

" you did"rachel admitted

" rachel" sebastian said quietly

" yes" she answered he montioned with his hand for her to move closer to him as she did he musted his enegry and put his arm around hwr neck bring her to his face he kissed her some of the warblers gasped some didnt seem that surprised rachel was shocked.

" im sorry i was dick the last few times we met i was trying to imlress you" he said then he stsrted to struggle to breath.

" help me get him on his side"blaine said

" will that help" thad asked

" no idea" blaine said rachel saw kurt giving her a small smile.

then sebastian started tomreally struggle to breathe they all started to freak out they were all in tears as he started to slip unconcious theybwere scared shitless as the window was smashed. then armed police swamped the room and brought a stretcher for sebastian as they students were given bullet proof vests and helmets.

" its not over so when you get outside ruh do you understand me you run" an officer said to them.

" if they could shoot isnt it dangerous for sebastian" rachel asked

" yes we are not taking him yet a paramedic is with him they will stay" the office told her.

" im staying" rachel said

" no you cant rach"kurt said

"i am" rachel said

" you his girl" the officer asked

" if we get out of this she will be" hunter said

" right you guys run on three"the officer said to thad jeff and wes

they ran the got safely to the abundant police cars

" now you three"he said to david thad and flint

thwy ran a shot went off as they got to the cars but they were okay then another shot rang out then a police officer over a mircophone spoke.

" suspects down your clear" he said they all hugged each other then started to make their way out the medics piled in to attend sebastian and then cleared the door wwy to go see if other casualites were okay. sebastian was quickly moved on the strecter and they rn with him rachel ran after thsm but she couldnt keep up so hunter grabbed her lifting her again and run woth her and put her down at the doors of the ambulance where sebastian was been worked.

" your covered in blood are you hurt my dear" a female paramedic who was workingnon sebastian asked her.

" no its his blood"rachel said

" you  must be rachel  "the woman said rachel was surprised.

"how"rachel started to ask

"he keeps mumblering your name how long youbguts been together"she asked clearly trying to keep rachel calm.

'we havent dated"rachel said

"i kissed her though"sebastian said he was starting to come round alitte.

"get in my dear"the womsn said rachel climbed in and the set off for the hospital.

"will he be okay" rachel mouthed to the woman.

" yes thanks to who ever tuck the bullet out" the woman said

" she did"sebastaim said waving his arm about them made a gesture which told rachel to hold his hand whoch she did as they hurtled to the hospital.
