chapter five : second date

rachel was excited she had just gotton home from school its friday the following week and while she had seeb sebastian a few times this was their official second date he had instisted for their second date that they go out for a meal amd having been given the okay from his doctor they were finally go be able to do just that.

rachel was very excited she beennon dates before but couldnt remember ever beennthis excited she fussed over her hair and her clothes as she wanted to look her best.

oncs ready and as time passed she headed dpwn stairs to where her fathers awwed at her.

" rachel my dear you look beautiful" hiram said

" he will be in for a treat"leroy said as they all heared sebastian pull up rachel went to leave the hohse to go to his car only sebastian met her at the door with a beautiful bouquet of lillies.

"thank you they smell amazing"rachel said

"you look amazing i mean wow ypur body is just...."hecsaid then blushed as he saw her dathers stood their

" hello sebastian"they both said together making him blush even darker

"hi"was all he could manage.

" right then i will put these in some water for when im back" rachel said rushing as she knew sebastian was uncomfortable then she went to him he kissed her cheek before leading hand in hand to his car.

they drove tp breadstixs ans went on in sebastian had reserved a table with it been friday night as they walked in rachel saw kurt and blaine we at a near by tble to theirs she wished they werent. kurt was her best friend but she felt like her date was been watched.

they ordered their food and drinks and sat down sebastian surprised her by sitting next to her instead pf infront of her.

" looks less like a date for people to watch us" sebastian said rachel smiled

" oh hello" kurt said looking at rachel with a smile and then looked at sebastian as he arrived at their table

" hey kurt" rachel said

" hello" sebastian said to him

" kurt come on" blaine said

" are you okay sebastian" kurt asked ingoring blaine who was waiting by the dor and giving rachsl an im sorry look.

" yes im almpst as good as new" sebastian said

" great" kurt said smilimg still

" kurt can you leave" rachel said

" oh my im sorry is this a date"kurt said laughing as he spoke

"yes"sebastian said kurt looked at blaine with an expression of imwas right.

"well goodbye kurt"rachel said and kurt looked at them both before leaving.

"well now we can begin"sebastian said kissing her they got lost in the kiss and only stopped when their food arrived and the waitress coughed. rachel blushed sebastians troked her pink cheek then kissed her on it.

" wow this food is good" rachel said

" it is" sebastian said

they had a great time they told each other about their childhoods and they kissed several times and as desert came the stare staring at each other. they spent most of the journey to rachel's house laughing about the pranks the dalton boys play on each other.

as they arrive back at rachel's sebastian walks her to her door while taking her other hand he looks into her eyes rachel fwlt he was looking into her soul and he leaned in and kissed her.

" rachel" he said suddenly once the kiss was over startling her somewhat

" yes sebastian" she replied

" rachel i want to tell you that i love you" he said rachel blushed

"i love you too" rachel told him his face lite up and they shared another kiss

" i loved you the first time i saw you" he said

" i hated you the first itme i met you" rachel said with a giggle

" thanks" he said feinging upset as he knew that all ready.

"i was an ass to you"sebastian admitted

"all i know is thst day my mind changed my heart changed the thought thst you might die..."rachel said starting to cry

"hey im fine and thats thanks to you"he said pulling her close to him

"i only did what blaine said to do"rachel said

"no you didnt you helped press to stop me bleeding you gave me the painting brush to bite on to stop me from wincing and getting shot again. you came back for me. you did what needed to be done you came to the hospital with me. rachel do you know what scared me the most that day it wasnt beennshot it wasnt about dying it was that you were there. the whole time after i saw that you were there i was thinking no why did they have to do ot why she was here she could get hurt she cant be hurt. when we were in the cupboard and they guys said they were coming for us and i told you to leave because you been safe was the only thing i cared about"sebastian rachel was in tears and so was he.

"when you were shot the thought of going downnthe stairscand leaving never crossed my mind when we were in that cupboard i was thankful i was with you" rachel admitted." i couldnt have left you" she add

" well i know bad thngs happened that day but it made me open ky eyes and instaed of  admoring you from afar i can do this" he said cuddling her and kissing her deeply.

" so miss berry will i have the pleasure of your company this sunday for our third official date" sebastia. asked once they had finished they kiss.

" that would be lovely" rachel said

" great well i shall make some arrangements and let you knw8 what we shall be doing" he soad before they had their final kiss of the night and rachsl stood at he door watching him drive away.
