The next morning Frodo was preparing a pack for travelling, along with his gardener, Samwise Gamgee. Gandalf had found the poor hobbit eavesdropping in their conversation last night, and now, he's tagging along with the girls and his master.

Mia was given brand new clothing along with Adelle. The blonde elleth was dressed in white trousers, a white blouse and white leather boots, along with a white cloak. Her hair was tied up into a high ponytail and her bangs framed her face.

Adelle was dressed in dark purple trousers with matching blouse and boots, and a cloak. Her dark brown hair was plaited and hung over her shoulder, and her bangs were pinned back behind her ears.

Gandalf was waiting for them to finish packing what they need for the journey. He was smoking his pipe as always just like in the movies. He was patient, but they needed to be quick. He fears that the dark riders would come sooner, and he wouldn't want to risk the danger for anyone in the Shire.

Frodo walked into the room, with his pack ready and the ring in his pocket. His eyes held fear, and he doesn't bother to hide it. Soon after he walked in, the other three came in and they were all set to leave.

Gandalf gave them a nod and led them out of the hobbit hole and down the pathway to the forest. The hobbits walked in front of the girls, trying to keep up with Gandalf's pace, Sam, encumbered with pots and pans, puffs along behind Gandalf's horse. The older female looked behind her, sensing something following them, but shrugged it off thinking it was just her imagination fooling her.

"Come along Samwise, keep up!" They enter a more heavily forested area and some dense undergrowth. "Be careful all of you. The enemy has many spies in his service: birds, beasts." The wizard turned to Frodo. "Is it safe?"

Frodo nods and pasts his vest's pocket. Gandalf nodded and turned towards his brown horse. "Never put it on, for the agents of the Dark Lord will be drawn to its power." He warned Frodo and mounted his horse, preparing to ride off.

He turned back to Frodo and looked at him seriously, a warning on his face and in his tone of voice. "Always remember, Frodo, the Ring is trying to get back to its master. It wants to be found."

Mia stepped forward and looked up at her new friend, someone who willingly looked at her and her friend. "Gandalf?" She asked quietly, her eyes full of sadness. The said wizard turned his head towards her, giving her an encouraging smile.

"You shall remember your past eventually, young one. Do not give up hope and protect the ones you love. As you journey, you will figure out who you are, and you will eventually seek out your rightful place" he spoke, making the elleth look confused, but didn't question it.

"I'll see you when we do, safe journey my friend" Mia wiped away a stray tear that leaked from her eye, giving him a small smile and a respectful bow.

Gandalf rides off, leaving the two hobbits and elves in the forest. They stare at each other. Eventually Frodo sighs, takes up his stick and continues on their journey. They follow him, preparing to journey ahead, for they shall not see the Shire for a long time.

They trek along the countryside, making their way across streams, over hills and through meadows. None haven't said a word since Gandalf left. Eventually they find themselves before a cornfield. Frodo and the girls walk through the corn. Sam following behind, stops besides a large scarecrow.

"This is it" he broke the silence, making the others turn towards them. Frodo raised an eyebrow, "This is what?"

"If I take one more step, it'll be the farthest away from home I've ever been." Sam answered, worry on his face. Mia chuckled and put a hand on his shoulder, smiling. "Do not worry Sam, you'll be fine! You got us here, you got Frodo."
