~Just wanted to say real quick, I'll make my chapters somewhat short sometimes, but I'll post a couple parts at a time.~

I jumped, waking up to the sound of smashing glass and groaned, rolling my eyes. Sitting up, I grabbed my phone and checked the time, seeing it was four in the morning. I tossed my phone to the opposite corner of my bed and slowly got up. I didn't even have to leave my room to hear my mom and dad's argument over whatever the problem was this time.

"You can't just come stumbling in at four in the morning from whatever bar you were just at, then yell at me like it's my fault that you were being stupid again!" dad yelled at my mom.

I couldn't really make out my mom's slurred yelling that she shot back at him, but I do know that another glass was broken.

I opened my door and leaned against the door frame, clearly seeing the two of them arguing and pushing each other in the kitchen, since it was right across from my room. Dad eventually turned to see me, and I rubbed my eyes while letting out a yawn. I was so tired.

"Great! Now you woke Tyler up!" He yelled again towards mom.

"Me?! You're the one who's yelling!" Mom yelled back.

I sighed as they continued to scream back at each other over and over again.

I really just can't take it anymore, like seriously, I can't stand being here another minute longer. I thought I'd be able to deal with it, but I just don't know. I feel like I just need to start doing things that will actually help me in life. Or ya know, some type of sappy shit like that. And staying here was not something that was gonna help me.

I walked back into my room and closed the door, turning on my light. My brother is so lucky he could leave. If I could leave too, I would. I sat on my bed for a minute to think. Maybe I can leave, I mean at least if I can find a place to stay. It's not like my parents are gonna be upset, I'm basically never around them anyway. I'm sure it'll work, it has to. I really think it's time for me to change it up a bit, and I know exactly how to do that.

I reached over and grabbed my phone, dialing my brother's number. Hopefully he'll answer, since it is four in the fucking morning. With the phone against my ear, I grabbed two extra backpacks I had and started shoving clean clothes in them.

"Hello?" My brother, Chris answered with a tired voice.

"Hey, dude. Did I wake you up?"

"No, because I'm always awake at four in the fucking morning." He snapped sarcastically.

"Damn, okay. I'm sorry, but I have a question."

"What?"

"Can I come live with you? I'm leaving the house either way, but if you say yes at least I won't be homeless."

He was silent for a minute, and I'm grateful for that, since it must mean he's actually thinking about it.

"I wouldn't have a problem with it, but I'm never home. I actually go to work and make money, ya know?"

"You know damn well I can take care of myself if I've been living here for fifteen years. And I'll figure out a way to pay you back, promise."

I tried to just ignore all the attitude he was giving me, since I did wake him up from his "beauty sleep".

"True, okay fine. But how are you suppose to get here? I'm like 15 hours away from San Francisco, so you can't walk here."

"I'll take care of it, we do have our own drivers, if you didn't remember."

It was true. Mom literally had so much money that we had our own personal drivers that took us wherever, whenever. It's a shame that she didn't actually work for the money, though. When grandpa died, all his hard earned money went to his only daughter: my alcoholic mother.

"Oh, yeah. Alright then, pack whatever you need then just call me when you're here. You're lucky I was in your place before so I know how it is living there."

"Yeah, really lucky." I said sarcastically.

"Whatever, loser. See ya whenever you show up."

"Okay, thanks. Later."

"Bye."

And just like that, I'm leaving this shit hole of a home.

Like I said, this one was kinda short. Yay for some of you, I know.

The next part should already be posted now.
