In math class, Tyler wrote down notes and sketched on the sides of his notebook to kill some time. He hadn't have stopped thinking about the note Josh had given him that morning, so all through class he was blushing and giggling. People would stare at him in curiosity, even the teacher would give him looks. He just couldn't stop thinking about his smile and his pretty cotton candy red hair.

Lunch Time

Tyler got his tray lunch and sat down at an empty table in a corner. He was too shy to go and sit with other people. Starting to eat, he felt someone hug him from behind and kiss him on the cheek. "Hi, Tyler" Josh states, sitting next to Tyler on the bench. Tyler looked at Josh in surprise. "What was that for?" Tyler asked shyly. Josh shrugged and smiled big, "I just thought since you saw the note... I mean, I felt more comfortable for some reason. Well, I mean--" Josh was cut off by Tyler kissing him on the lips. Pulling away, Tyler chuckled, "It's okay, Josh" The slightly smaller boy chuckles again and starts to eat. Josh's cheeks are filled with a bright pink as he smiles brightly.

They both ate in silence. It was weird for a minute but then Josh broke the silence, "So, are you staying here for sure?" the red head asks, eating small bites of his food. Tyler sighed and looked down at his tray. "Well, my mom says we are. I mean, she has a good job, but every time she tells me we're going to stay, we don't." Tyler explains, rubbing his neck nervously. Josh shakes his head "That's a shame, man... I was actually about to make a good friend." Tyler looked at Josh and frowned, "Well it's not like I'm leaving tomorrow, doofus." Tyler laughs and lightly punches Josh in the arm. Josh and Tyler laugh out loud, the brunette placing an arm around his friend. Or on the verge of a boyfriend?

End of Day

Tyler sits next to Josh on the bus and looks past him out of the window. "Hey, Tyler?" Josh makes Tyler snap out of his trance from the outside. "Yeah?" Tyler answers lowly, looking into Josh's dark brown eyes. "Can I have your number?" Josh asks nervously, handing Tyler a small slip of blank paper and a pencil. The brunette nods slowly and places the paper on his thigh, carefully writing down his number. It reads in sloppy numbers "6869027120". Tyler hands Josh the slip of paper and pencil. "Thank you." Josh smiles and takes out his phone, going to contacts and adding Tyler as a contact. Tyler nods and smiles also.

The bus arrived at their stop after a while and they got off, watching the bus leave the corner. "Hey, Josh. Do you think it would be okay if you came to my house to meet my family?" Tyler asks innocently, rubbing his arm. Josh smiles, "Really, dude? You want me to meet your folks already?" He says teasingly, nudging Tyler with his elbow. They both laugh out loud. "Yeah. My mom is Kelly. My dad is Chris. Two brothers named Zack and Jay and a sister named Madison." Tyler says. Even though his siblings weren't ever really home, at least Josh got to meet Tyler's parents.

They walked towards the house, holding hands like the first day they'd met. "We're here." Tyler notes as they stand in front of a huge house. "Wow, your house is big." Josh notes, tightening his grip on Tyler's hand. Tyler pulls away with a squeal, "Who are you, the Hulk?" Tyler laughs. Josh laughs along as they walk to the door of the house. They both walk inside and set their book bags on the white chair just beside the door. "Wow, it's bigger than I thought." Josh states again, looking around in awe. Tyler smiles brightly and lays on the couch, kicking his shoes off, "Just get comfortable, friend," Tyler smiles and stretches out his body on the cushy couch. Josh smiles softly and takes off his shoes, carefully setting them by the door. The redhead crawls behind Tyler who is lying on his side and lies on his side, facing Tyler. "Hey, Ty." Josh smiles. "Hi, Josh." Tyler nuzzles his face into Josh's shoulder. "This is nice." Josh states, wrapping his arms around Tyler. Tyler's chuckling voice is muffled by his face in Josh's shoulder. The slightly larger man hugs Tyler a little tighter and sighs happily. Tyler un-nuzzles his face (IDK) from Josh's shoulder and looks up at his friend, kissing his chin.

Couple Hours Later

As Josh and Tyler are cuddling, Kelly walks in and smiles at the two lying on the couch. They were sleeping soundly, cuddling each other. "Tyler," Kelly says quietly, shaking him lightly. Instead of Tyler, Josh opens his eyes. "Oh, hey. Are you Mrs. Joseph?" Josh asks, carefully unhooking his arms from Tyler and sitting up. Kelly nods her head, "I sure am. I assume you're Josh?" she responds, smiling. Josh nods, his red hair bouncing slightly, "Joshua Dun. But, yeah. Call me Josh," Josh smiles. "Do you need him to wake up?" Kelly asks, making a head notion towards Tyler. Josh shakes his head, "I got it," Josh smiles happily. "Alright, Josh. And I'm sorry if this is weird, but thank you for taking my son in. He usually feels alone when we move because he usually doesn't make friends." Kelly states, smiling forgivingly. She smiled at Josh like she felt bad. Like she felt that he was forced to be Tyler's friend. "It's no problem, Mrs. Joseph," Josh answers happily and quietly. "Alright, well I'm going to go and take a shower, so if you could wake him up that'd be amazing," Kelly smiles forgivingly once again as Josh just nods. Tyler's mom runs off to the bathroom and Josh starts to shake Tyler slightly. "Hey, Ty. Your mom is home and she's in the bathroom. She asked me to wake you up." Josh says softly into Tyler's ear. Tyler cracks his eyes open and looks at Josh from the tips of his eyelashes. "Hey, Josh." Tyler yawns and smiles. "Hey, Tyler. Did you hear anything I said?" Josh asks, helping Tyler up off of the couch. Tyler nodded, "Yeah, mom is home." he repeated. Josh smiled at Tyler, mesmerized by his fluffy brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. Josh felt as if he was falling in love, but he wasn't absolutely sure. Tyler knew he was in love. He just hasn't come out to his parents yet because he was scared of the "consequences".

Josh and Tyler sit on the couch, cuddling and laughing at each others jokes. They made faces and when Kelly was somewhere else, Josh or Tyler would sneak a small kiss on the cheek or lips. They already felt like they were more than friends. Yet, they still didn't know each other's ages. "So," Kelly starts as she walks back into the living room, sitting on a chair, "How old are you, Josh?" she asks, smiling softly. "Oh, I'm 18." Josh answers, smiling back at Kelly then at Tyler. "Well, that's great! Only a year older than Tyler here." She says. He's only 18? Tyler asks himself, confused but relieved at the same time.

A/N

1231 words. Hwow. That's a lot of writing. I sort of feel bad because Josh and Tyler have just met and I'm moving into the fluff already. I mean, you would think I have more sense than to have them move into that crap that fast. Even they have more sense than me XD
