Kampala's Pov
I looked up as I heard the voice behind me. "Yah well fun's over. Get out of our seats!" I turned to look at the women behind me. There were three in all. The one in the front was obviously the leader. Her body was compact and muscles seemed to bulge from her body. Her her hair was jet black and she kept it in a neat fishtail.
The two behind her looked less menacing. The one on her right was a blonde that looked too cocky for her own good. The one on the left seemed to be quite more sufficient than the blonde. They seemed to think that they owned the place and I didn't like that one bit. "Well," said the leader looking at us expectantly. "Why should we have to get up?" asked Rukon. "We got her first,"
The leader looked angry at this. "It's because I said so," she growled. "I own this joint. Everything here is my playground and you-" she said pointing at us, "are my toys.
"For one," I said standing up. "I am not yours. I belong only to my ruler and it is certainly not you. Secondly no one bosses me around. Now scurry along before I wip your but,"
By now other inmates started to gather around us. Some looked scared and worried but alot of them looked excited like there was new hope or maybe they just wanted to see a good fight. "I am not going anywhere," snarled the leader. "I think I need to teach you a lesson,"
"What lesson?" asked Wolfsbane. "On how not to look like an arse?" I saw Xyra smirk at this. "Well anyway," she said turning serious. "We only listen to lead," she said abbreviating leader. "And she hasn't told us its time to go,"
The leader seemed to consider this for a moment and we say her visibly take a deep breath. "Well them who is this leader you talk of? Is it you?" she asked turning to me. I heard Wolfsbane snicker behind me.
"No, its her," I said stepping aside to reveal Xyra whom was still sitting down at the table looking at us with a bored expression.
"What are you serious?!" asked the woman. "She is your leader. What's your name?" she said addressing Xyra.
Xyra looked at her for a second, sizing her up. "Why should I give my name when you have failed to present your own?" she said cocking her head to the side. The leader sighed. "My name is Troy. The ones beside me are Evangeline and Delia," she said indicating the blonde and the black head. Xyra nodded in respect. "Well I am Xyra. You've already met the hot head Kampala," she said nodding to me. "The quick witted Wolfsbane and of course the idiot Rukon," pointing to each.
"Hey," said Rukon looking hurt. "Why am I the idiot? If anyone is supposed to be the idiot than it should be Wolfsbane,"
"You are the idiot," said Wolfsbane looking cheeky. "Because you make the most obvious mistakes,"
"Like when?" she asked.
"Hmm, well maybe tripping on nothing, almost getting hit by a car over thirty times in five minutes, running into walls, dropping about anything," she paused. "Should I go on?"
"No," side Rukon looking defeated.
"Wow," said Delia. "how have you survive so long?"
Rukon just pointed to Xyra. "She took me in and helped me along way back when,"
The girls nodded their heads. "Well lets get back on point so that I can take a nap," said Xyra yawning, "How about we make a treaty? Our two groups will work alongside each other and not make any trouble between us. You will respect our space and we yours. In simple words we will be different sides of the same coin. Is that OK with you?"
Troy nodded her head and stuck out her hand. I watched as Xyra sat up and took Troy's hands, shaking them firmly, As Xyra turned around she grabbed Rukon from beside her and dragged the girl on her lap, freeing up a space beside her before she set her head on the table instantly knocking out. I nodded knowing what she was doing. I sat down and Wolfsbane joined me.
Troy and her groups looked at us in astonishment. "Well arent you going to sit down?" asked Rukon.
"You're letting us sit?" asked Delia. "Why?"
"Well Xyra said we are different sides of the same coin. Meaning that we may be different but we are still the same. To us that means you are part of our group so we treat you as so,"
Troy nodded her head understanding. She sat down and motioned for her group to sit down. "So," she said looking at Xyra. "is she alright?"
I looked down at her sleeping form and shrugged. "Seriously I don't know. She's always sleeping so I'm guessing she's alright,"
"Why did y'all get arrested?" asked Rukon.
Evangeline shrugged. "Burglary. You?"
"Carrying weapons without a permit, whatever that is, aggravated assault on police, murder, resisting arrest and disturbing the peace," I looked up and saw the shock on their faces.
"What?" said Wolfsbane. "We could have done worse like we could blown their headquarters up but we didn't."
"Wow you guys are great," said Delia smiling.
"Hey," said Troy turning her voice into a whisper. "We are planning a break out. Do you want to come with us?"
We all exchanged looks. "When and where," said Xyra without opening her eyes. Troy and her groups jumped. "Don't worry about it," I said, "She's still asleep but she hears everything,"
Evangeline mouthed 'wow'
Delia recovered from her shock first. "Next week when we go into the city. This is the plan...."
