It was the day of the concert and Dan had previously given us our tickets and back stage passes, although Dan Smith was our neighbour I was still screaming inside knowing I was finally going to one of their concerts.
'Layla! You ready to go?' Tori shouted to me from down the hall.
'Yes! I'm coming!' I screamed back. I wasn't, I hadn't even got dressed yet.
After quickly pulling on my black skinny jeans, Bastille Bad Blood shirt, denim jacket and white converse, we headed out the door.
We didn't see Dan before the concert because he was already there practising with the rest of the band, I was so excited to meet Woody and Will.
When we arrived at the venue, it was packed, so this is what it's like to be at a sold out concert!
After about an hour of queueing we was in! Right at the front too, well I was the fastest runner in my old school so we was quick.
The support acts finished and now it was time to see the lads. I couldn't help but let all my fangirl screams out.
Dan was up there awkwardly levitating around the stage, Kyle stood with the same expression on his face, a few smiles every now and then shot at me and Tori, Will played his bass whilst Woody sat and gave the beats. It was awesome.
In the middle of flaws Dan came into the crowd, I know I've already met him and he's my neighbour and everything but I still let screams escape my lips.
He came closer to me and Tori and he took my hand in his and he stared into my eyes and he sang the last line of the song. Even though we were stood in front of a million screaming stormers. It was romantic.
We came to the last song of the night which of course was Pompeii. Me and Tori sung our hearts out, I think we were louder than Dan to be honest.
It came to the last eh oh's and Dan thanked everyone for coming. After everyone had left me and Tori went back stage and showed their manager out back stage passes. Luckily he let us through.
We followed him to a dressing room that read 'Bastille' even then I got all excited. He knocked on the door and Dan answered and welcomed us in.
As soon as we entered Kyle stood up and came running over and hugged me and Tori, good seeing you again catman.
A chorus of hey's, hello's and hi's were spoken.
Woody stood up to greet us,
'You must be Layla and Tori, I've heard a lot about you two and it's great to finally meet you!' He grinned.
He's heard a lot about us? Already? After a week? Really? Wow.
'Hi Woody, it's great to meet you too!' Me and Tori chorused.
Will then stood up and introduced himself to us,
'Hi I'm Will, nice to meet you' he smiled.
'We know who you are, you're the fantastic Lord Farquarson and it's a pleasure to meet you too' I winked at him.
He laughed, hugged us both and say back down.
Kyle pulled Tori down to sit next to him and there they went talking about their cats again. They were definitely made for each other.
I sat down on the mini sofa and Dan came and sat next to me.
'So Layla, what did you think of the gig?' He smiled
'It was amazing! Thank you so so much' I grinned.
'No need to thank me, you deserved it' he kissed me on the cheek.
At that point, Tori, Kyle, Will and Woody all wolf whistled and me and Dan madly blushed.
We were all chatting for a while and seemed to get on pretty well. I had a feeling we were all going to have a very happy future.
It was getting late and me and Tori had to head home, Dan offered us a lift because I mean, he only did live next door. We accepted his offer and we drove home.
