The dark angel's Prophecy

Chapter 2 : Kaden

Not being born like a normal human being, and hated by many. I am who everyone fear, the one who tempt people into doing things they never thought of doing. Someone whose duty was to protect but instead rebel. I am a fallen angel also known as the dark angel, being punished by the creator itself due to my mischief and lack of responsibilty. Now I have to live on earth to redeem my own action.

"Kaden, what are you thinking?"

"Nothing, just life."

"Come on man, you know that being like that would not help you gain your place"

"Yeah I know."

West is my best buddy, he was with me when everything happened, and was also punished. Trevon is an Encantado, a shapeshifting trickster dolphin, and Trinity is her twin, she is a Caladrius, a white bird with healing powers. These two are always trouble but they are my friends.

"You all know that we have a mission to accomplish so stop sulking and let's get going"

Trinity said with her over enthusiastic mood. I scowled at her. I saw West throwing something at Trinity. I eyed him and he just shrugged like nothing happened.

"WEST JOHNSON, you better hide your arse, because if I get a hold of it, I will personally propel you to an another universe"

Trinity said angrily while trying to remove the sticky chewing gum from her hair. I've learnt my lesson far back about touching her hair, but it seems that West's brain has not grabbed this crucial information. Now as usual, these two are going to fight around the house like kids and Trevon and I will be the one to stop the fight. If I do not stop them, my head will explode.

"Trevon stop before I do something that we'll both regret."

I said to him, shutting my eyes and inhaling a deep breath. After several minutes passed, everything returned to normal, quiet. I open my eyes to see everything has freezed out. I turn to Trevon and he just shrugged and went toward the two freezed statue. He picked Trinity and placed her near the couch. Then he has defreezed the time and Trinity fell on the couch. West stared at Trevon and grinned at him.

"Thanks man, you save me big time, or else you would have my arse served for dinner"

He said eyeing Trinity, the latter just poked her tongue at him. They are both childish. The twin have a connection between them, like mind linking. Something rare. So if Trevon sensed Trinity fear, he would save her, whatever big or small incidents.

"Ewww, West you should seriously put a filter in that filthy mouth"

Trinity said scrunching her nose. He just snickered at her and resumed his talking with Trevon. Sometimes I think if I have not done any wrong, I would never have known these people.

"Let's go guys"

I said while taking everything we needed. We need to search for someone today. Now I hope that the person would be still there.

We arrived at a little craft shop and we were to identify that person with a pale blue pendant. The people inside the shop was still working, due to that human festival called Halloween. I still wondered why they celebrate something like that. Everyone just disguised themselves as everything they are not. We were parked near the shop and was waiting. It was getting dark and we were getting bored.

"Kaden, can I just get out of the car, I cannot feel my arse anymore"

West said always exaggerating everthing.

"I give you only 5 minutes"

He scowled and left the car. Trinity was eyeing me suspiciously. I raised my eyebrows at her and she turned away. I was about to ask her, when I heard the door of the shop opened. A girl stepped out and was searching for something or someone outside. Suddenly she turned her head towards our car, I held my breath, tensing. One thing that encaptured me was her eyes. The colour of pale brown and green mixed together.

West entered the car, interrupting the trend of my thoughts.

"Someone or something is protecting the human that we need to take"

I eyed West, telling him to continue.

"I am just saying as there is no one with that pendant inside the shop"

I groaned and rubbed my head due to the forming headache. Now we will need to divise another way to search for that person.

"Tomorrow I will come here again"

I said but mostly to myself, eyeing that girl.
