The Four-Wheeler Ride

When I finally got to my house.  I went inside set down my bag, and walked to my room, changed into my cute jeans and a neon orange t-shirt.  Then I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and head out the door to my four-wheeler. I back it out the shed and drive to Travis’s house.

On the ride over I started thinking ...how come he was so nervous when asking if I wanted to go four-wheeling?  Does he like me as much as I like him?  Where are we going to go? I am so excited.

The drive is at least twenty minutes to his house.  When I get there I walk to the front door just about to knock but he beats me there.  He opens up the door and says “Hi”

Startled I reply, “Oh hey!”

“So where do you want to go?”   He asks as he looked really hot in a camo t-shirt and  jeans that fit him perfect.

“Well, I could show you how to get to my house, by a trail and not tar.”

“There’s a trail to your house?” He has a surprised look on his face.

“Yeah, you have to take the main gravel road to get to the trail, then the trail all the way to my house.”

“Ok, lets go!” We hop onto our four-wheelers and when he starts his I start laughing.

He turns off the motor and asks, “Why are you laughing, what is so funny?” he starts laughing because I am laughing so hard.

“Oh, your four-wheeler just sounds like a chainsaw that’s all,” I reply still laughing.

“Well I can’t help it! Can we just go?”

“Ok, let’s go,” I go first leading the way to my house.  When we get to the actual trail I turn and I just think. How am I going to keep this huge thing bottled up in my head all summer. I hope he admits that he likes me too and doesn’t get shy and doesn’t say anything.

We get to the house in twenty minutes, at least it looks like he is having fun, from the smile on his face.  “So this is my house, this is Spot and Teddy Bear,” I say to start the conversation while pointing at my two dogs.

“Cool.  There really friendly.”

“Where do you want to go now?”

“We could go across the road.”

“Ok.”

I am having a blast.  He is flirting with me, when he flirts with me it is so creative, it is so cute even when he steals my key drops it and rides off.  Especially when he tries to hide and then I find him.  It is so hot and I am starting to get hungry, I have to try to find him it is 5:30; supper time.  When I find him I hold up my hand to make him stop, to talk.

“Hey, do you want to go home?  It’s getting really hot, plus it is supper time.  We can still hang out I just think we should be done with four-wheeling,” I say sitting there sweating.

“Yeah, ok, do you want to come over to my house and we can eat and cool off?”

“Sure.”
