"Hello?" Mom answered.

"Hey mom. It's Dani." I smiled.

"Oh hi! How are you? Are you in the States, your phone isn't breaking up as much?" Mom asked.

"I'm good. And yes I am in the States. I'm at uh a friend's house." I stood up and walked over to the dresser.

"I see. I called your apartment and Haden answered the phone. Said you had left for a little while. You had me worried." Mom stated placing a hand on her heart.

"I'm sorry. I came to the States for a few weeks maybe just a few days. My friend got hurt while visiting me in Ireland." I explained leaving the part about that friend being my brother.

"What happened?" Mom pushed for information.

"Well he fell down a flight or two of stairs. He broke some ribs and his wrist. I felt bad so I decided to bring him home and help out as much as I can." I laid on the bed.

"Ouch. I'll let you go so you can help your friend. I love you Danielle." Mom smiled.

"I love you too Mom." I smiled before hanging up.

The rest of the night was quiet and calm. I'm not use to quiet and calm. I'm use to Haden in my apartment and Jack screaming at a game. I wonder what they are doing. Should I call?

"What do you want?!" Haden answered the phone sounding out of breathe.

"Well jeez love you too." I chuckled.

"I'll call you back I'm busy." Haden laughed.

"Oh, can I talk to Jack?" I sounded like a little kid asking for their dad.

"He's busy too. We are busy. Together." Haden tried to make a point.

"Oh gross! I didn't need that image! Haden why did you tell me that?!" I groaned loudly.

"You wanted to talk!" Haden laughed at the noises I was making.

"Go screw the Irishman. Tell him I said use protection and have fun making babies. Love you." I hung up before they said anything.
