I was discharged the next day around noon. I felt really bad because Haden stayed by my side and I know how much they really wanted to spend time with Jack. Mark made Jack and Haden stay at the hotel so he could come pick me up from the hospital. The drive back was quiet and long. It wasn't a bad quiet but a peaceful one.
"Thank you. For the past couple days. I'm sorry I caused you to worry so much for a stranger." I sighed looking over at him.
"It's fine. Really it is. I'm glad I was there." Mark smiled, he didn't look over at me but he smiled.
We talked here and there about small things. Once we got back to the hotel Jack and Haden were 'busy' in our room so I went to Mark's. I was finally able to charge my phone and decided to call Gabe. He hadn't answered so I left a voicemail. After a few minutes I decided to text him.
'Hey I'm out of the hospital the doctor said that the baby is okay as am I please text me when you get this so I know that you're okay or at least safe I love you' I sent the text and yawned.
Mark and I were sitting on the floor leaning against the bed. I put my head on his shoulder out of pure exhaustion. Normally I wouldn't even think of doing this but it's been a stressful few days. Mark wrapped his arm around my shoulder and kissed my head. I fell asleep soon after.
