"Anything?" I asked as Haden walked in.
"No um nothing. Can I talk to you two in the hall please?" Haden stepped out along with the boys.
I tried to listen but I couldn't hear anything. The doctor came in and everyone listened carefully. He explained basically exactly what the nurse had said. I was fine, the baby was fine and I just panicked. I started crying again as he was talking.
"Um what about the baby? I mean she is about five months." Haden asked holding my hand tightly as I cried.
The doctor was talking and I was watching his mouth move but I heard nothing. My mind was racing. Mark was holding my right hand and rubbing the back of my hand with his thumb. I looked at our hands and looked up at him. He was listening carefully to what the doctor was saying.
