Prolouge

Gorsekit shot up from his nest.

The voice was back. He looked over at his brother Tabbykit who was asleep inTaking a deep breath Gorsekit laid his head back on his nest hoping he would not hear the same noise he covered his ears with his paws.

Gorsekit opened his eyes and saw stars swinging around him. 
"Woah." He meowed taking a step froward. He looked around him for any sign of life but instead a white cat with stars in her fur walked up.

"Hello Gorsekit." said the shecat. Gorsekit took a step back and swallowed some of his dinner. He looked at the shecat and placed his head on his paws.

"No need to bow young one." She said with a soothing voice. Gorsekit pricked his ears.

"That Voice" He squeaked reliazing it was the same one that was calling his name ealier. The shecat smiled and wiped her paw against the pale green starry grass. He looked down at the grass and looked at her.

"I am Stargaze." She meowed and Gorsekit blinked a few times relaizng who she was.

"You were the greatest medicine cat ever, Birchsplash always speakes of you!" He said remembering Birchsplash's stories that he told Gorsekit when he would sneak into the medicince cat den to watch Birchsplash work. The shecat smiled.

"Yes, Birchsplash was a lovely apprintice, so will you, once you join him." She said and Gorsekit gasped.

"You mean it!" He squeaked with delight. That was his dream. To be an apprintice and help sick cats. The shecat nodded.

"But," Stargaze said making Gorsekit's excitiment die down.
"There is a propocey, that a cat with a shekit yet to be born." Stargaze wiped her paw agianst the ground revealing a feather, two jay feathers. 
"This kit, will have the powers of many better medicine cats but her paws lie elsewhere." Gorsekit looked at the two feathers. He looked up at Stargaze who began to fade away. 

"No wait!" Gorsekit squealed staring at the fading shecat.
"What dies this mean?" The shecat dipped her head all you could see was her outline.

"You will know, Little Gorsekit, you'll find out soon enough."
