Chapter 10

Weeks gone by and the tour was running on and so was Emily's and Lauren's relationship. Ever since their first proper date , there had been plenty more , all of those of which had been subtle and only occurred whenever the rest of the girls were busy or sleeping.
Now lounging in the back room of the tour bus , Emily and Lauren were sat cuddled watching a movie.
To the eye , it would just look like the two were the best of friends but inside , both of them knew it was much more.
Now sat cuddling , Emily watched their intertwined hands and how they sat cuddled with their legs lost amongst the mess of the blankets that they had engulfed around their bodies.
Looking at Lauren's side silhouette , she looked perfect. Flawless. And she realised how lucky she was to have this relationship with this perfect human. Everything about Lauren ,Emily loved, everyday was a new experience and Emily felt herself falling in love with Lauren a little more every day.
But the pair still weren't in an official relationship and the thought of that had really dawned upon Emily whilst they had sat there.
" You reckon anyone had figured us out yet?" I asked.
Shuffling around to face me, I was met with a sea of emerald green.
" That is a good question. I mean Dinah has her very high suspicions but other than that, I'm not sure. I mean even my parents don't know. Maybe we should ask them."
Nodding in agreement, I let my mind wander to telling people about us. Not letting the last sentence that she had said sink in.
" Wait hold up." I said, jumping forward into an upright position, knocking Lauren onto her side.

" Maybe we should ask them as in telling people about us?" I queried.

Sitting upright, Lauren shrugged.
" I mean yeah. It's been a few weeks. I feel ready to tell close family and friends. How about you?"
Pulling my hair back from my face, I paused.
Did I feel ready to open up and tell people about us?
" Wait, there's something missing." I pointed out. " We aren't even an official ' couple' yet." I said gesturing with my hands.

" Well Lovato. Ignore the fact that we aren't on a beach or at a fancy restaurant or whatever and please consider that this bus is where we had our first kiss. Soooo, bearing all that in mind, would you like to be my girlfriend?"
Meeting Lauren's eye, I looked in shock. I always thought that I would have been the one to ask but I was always too awkward.
Time must have passed when Lauren had broke the silence.
" Babe, if you aren't ready you could have at least replied back with something other than giving me that look and in silence." She replied looking a little heart broken.
Snapping out of my trance, I looked confused.
" Wait what? Noooooo. Babe shut the fuck up and kiss me. Of course I will be your girlfriend!" I grinned, placing my hands on either side of her head and pulling her in for a kiss.
We kissed passionately before we heard movement coming from the front of the bus.
" I guess we won't have to freak out every time we hear someone coming now." I sighed in relief.
" Babe, you don't know how lucky I feel. Like, THHEEEE Lauren Jauregui is mines. Moi. ALL MINES!! YASS BISH!" I exclaimed dancing in celebration around the room.
Laughing in response, Lauren joined me and pulled me into a hug.
" I'm always yours. No one elses." She whispered as we embraced.

Hearing shouting coming from the back of the bus, Dinah groggily woke up from her nap and went to seek what had caused the noise.
Opening the door, she was met with Emily and Lauren hugging.
Confused, Dinah asked. " Wait. Was the shouting coming from in here? And why are y'all caught up in a moment here?"
Pulling apart, Emily pulled an awkward smile and looked nervously at Lauren waiting for her to tell her.
" Welllllll DJ." Lauren started as she shuffled timidly on her toes.
Narrowing her eyes sussing us out, Dinah smirked.
Sitting down, she crossed her arms and legs and said.
" Y'all are dating aren't you?"
I gave Lauren a blank stare and Lauren smiled back.
" Haha! I knew it! I bloody knew it! I am the captain of all ships therefore I can smell out a relationship before I see one and that is exactly what I have done. And if you don't believe me, ask the rest of the girls." Dinah stated smugly.
