Ch.3
Sam POV
Cameron and I stayed awake watching Disney movies while eating anything we could find in my fridge. Marie had left just half an hour ago and that's when Cameron and I began to make out but we stopped about 5 minutes after when Ariana bursted through my door yelling "I'm bored!"
As soon as she saw us we all screamed and she ran out leaving the door right open. I heard footsteps run down the stairs.
"Ya know, you could've used the do not disturb sign I got for you two for Christmas last year!" Ariana yelled from downstairs.
"Ya know you could've knocked before you came barging in MY ROOM?" I yelled putting emphasis on 'my room'.
"Whatever." Ariana called from downstairs. "By the way I think your mom's home"
I grabbed Cameron's arm and led him downstairs.
I watched as my mom came through the door holding groceries in one hand and Carl's Jr in the other. Ariana and I ran to her to each grab a bag.
"Mom. Can I talk to you about something?" I asked my mom as soon as she sat down
"Oooh. I wanna hear this!" Ariana yelled excitedly just before plopping her but into the seat in between Cameron and my mom and holding her chin in her hand pretending to 100% interested.
"Yeah, of course anything dear." My mom replies sweetly before giving Ariana the 'be quiet' look.
"IwanttogototheuniversityofLondon." I quickly say in one breath.
I close my eyes and slowly start to slump deeper into my chair while waiting for my mothers response.
Ashley's POV (Sam's mom)
University of London? I ponder in my head, why would she want to go so far? What's in London for her?
"London? Why London?" I ask Sam who now looks like she's shrunk into her seat and maybe died a little.
"Well... you know how you say I'm half British? I was thin-"
"YOU WANT TO GO TO LONDON FOR YOU DAD?!" I scream in absolute shock.
"Mom! Don't you think it's time for me to finally meet my dad? You've kept me from him for almost 18 years! And I'm done. I NEED my father and I will find him whether you let me or not." Sam says in a huff before stomping her way up the stairs and into her room just before immaturely slamming her door.
"Ughhhh." I say clearly frustrated.
"Well, don't you think she has a right to meet him. I mean at least once. For Christ's Sake Aunt he is her father after all." Ariana says to me before getting up to go to her room.
I quietly think of the pros and cons of her actually going to London to look for Simon as I sit at the table which contains only one person, me.
Sam's POV
It's 2am and I'm still texting Cameron about how unreasonable my mom is and I have school tomorrow.
Thank God. I thought this weekend would never end. I've managed to ignore my mom the rest of the weekend. I know it sounds kind of childish to have pulled the ignoring card on her but I'm actually really mad about her not even listening to what I had to say first.
*Knock knock*
I drag myself out of my bed and lower down my music and swing the door open.
It's my mom. Oh great, The last person I'd want to speak to right now.
"Wait!" my mom says and puts her foot out to stop me as I attempt to slam the door in her face.
"Yes?" I asked, slipping in some attitude by putting my hand on my hip.
"Sam. Just let me tell you why I don't want you to go." My mom says trying to sound like she cares.
With a huff I open my door to let my mom in and jump onto my bed.
