Chapter 1

Introduction

Hi. The name's Sam. Well it's actually Samantha Tolentino but most people call me Sam or Sammy. I am 18 as of April 23 That's right, I'm an April baby. I'm a senior at Milford Creek High, I'm on the volleyball team and in choir but I like calling it glee club. Sorry, im sort of a gleek.

I live in San Francisco, California and I've lived here my entire life. Yup, Bay Area born and raised bitches. I live with my mom and my cousin Ariana. Ariana is more like the sister I never had. She's 20 and I'm almost 18. She constantly has her nose in a book, she's a book worm. She obviously isn't in school with me, she goes to SFS, San Francisco State. She's majoring in English cause she wants to become a writer or a publisher.

But enough about Ariana, let's talk about mwah!

I have long brown hair that stops at my waist, grey-blue eyes that tends to mesmerize people, and I'm 5'5". I am British and Filipino. I have a boyfriend named Cameron and we've been dating for about 4 years.

Cameron is Australian and British, 5'9", brown/blond hair, he has brown eyes, he has an accent which is sort of a mix between British and Australian, and is constantly smiling and laughing. Which is one of the reasons I love him. Cameron and I met freshman year of high school in 5th period. We both had Spanish, I took it cause I knew it was gonna be an easy A. He was my first high school crush, friend, and then boyfriend.

When he comes over and falls asleep I find myself staring at him. I don't know if that's creepy but he's caught me a few times but he doesn't seem to mind. It's just that when he's sleeping he look so peaceful and happy. His lips slightly parted with little breaths escaping it, his chest slowly rising then falling, and the way he always tucks his hands under his face before he falls asleep. He's so cute asleep.

Cameron's met my mom and Ariana, they both seem to approve. He's never met my dad which is normal I guess cause I've never even met him either. My mom said he's an ass cause he left her after she told him that she was pregnant and that having him out of my life forever is what's best for me, but she has no idea how much a girl needs a father in her life. Which is why I'm so close to Cameron's dad and Cameron loves how I'm close to his family.

But as much as I love Cameron's and my family, I still want my real father so I have decided to go to a college in London since I'm British I guess he's somewhere in Great Britain and what better place to look than the heart of England, London. But I still need a way to tell my mom, Ariana, and Cameron. I know it's selfish of me but I want to ask Cameron to come with me.
