Chapter 3: Red Hair Shanks

As we made are way to were my dad would be. Uncle and I would talk about how life has been for me since he had last saw me. I told him about my arrival to Dawn Island and meeting my best friend Luffy. He then asked me how had dad lost his arm, I told him he was saving Luffy from being eaten by a sea monster. Also told him the time I meet Grap and ended up living with bandits and became Grap's granddaughter. He was pretty shocked about that after all Grap is a marine but then again uncle is a warlord. I even told him my older brother that had set out before me. We then had crossed reverse mountain and had finally made it to the grand line. We also come across other pirates so Uncle would cut there ship down for the fun of it. But I felt left out so I would knock out some of them but I would also cut cannon balls in half including the cannons that where pointed at us. Since we had nothing else he was teaching me how to navigate the grand line which was a bit difficult because of the weird weather. But it helped to have a log pose and someone who has been on the grand line for along while like my Uncle. After two weeks of stopping by islands where he would trainer me about a thing or two of swordsmanship we had finally arrived where my father was located.

It looked like a tropical island  and I saw some men that I didn't recognized must be new members. They all stared because of uncle and I'm sure they haven't seen me yet.  Then they suddenly screaming like little girls and it started to hurt my fox ears I had to cover them and shut my eyes tight. But then I don't hear anything I let go and open my eyes to see that Uncle had knocked out everyone well except maybe one. (It was a good thing to I would have done way worse to them. There screaming was hurting my ears. It didn't help that I had sensitive hearing.)

"Thanks Uncle they were hurting my ears. Why is Dad even staying here?" I asked irradiated as I rubbed my ears.

"Hmm" Uncle agreed annoyed. Ruby was soundly sleeping on my shoulders I'm surprised after all that screaming he hadn't wake up I decided to move him into my satchel since I didn't want him woken up if dad and his crew are partying.

"He's not very far from here lets go." I nodded and we made our way through the jungle and as we got closer I could hear loud joyous laughter and I could smell the sake all the way from here. Typical of dad   to be having a party and drinking in the middle of the day. I rolled my eyes but I guess that's just how he is I thought with a smile. As we got there one of the men that Uncle didn't knock out had gone ahead of us was blabbering nonsense to my dad who was in the shadow and couldn't really see him.

"Captain Shanks we have intruders" he said hysterically. What a total wimp not trying to be mean or anything but come. Everyone stopped as everyone paid attention to what he was saying. While Uncle had made his way to the clearing, while I followed behind him trying to peak around him. Which was a total bust mind you.

"Well look at that it's my buddy Mihawk *hiccup*"Oh yeah my dear father was drunk off his ass. Uncle rolled his eyes seeing what state my dear dad was in of course I could tell that how Uncle would act.

"Why am I not surprised to see your drunk Red Hair."

"Hmm, well yeah we partied all night to" Dad said and I could hear a cheeky smile in his voice.

"You should join us Hawky" Dad said making his way over. I'm surprised he hasn't seen me yet.

"No, thank you just cam to drop someone off. But I might be reconsidering that I'm afraid you'll only influence her to take up your drinking habits." Uncle said with a grave tone. I kinda sweat dropped.

"Ehh, what are you talking about?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Don't you remember that I was going to was bringing Scarlett to see you. Since you kept on going on and on  about going to see her before she started her pirate adventure every time I came over to see you" He then grew with excitement.

"She's here where's my little girl?" Dad asked. I smiled and walked from behind my Uncle.

"Hi, Dad been awhile" I said with a big smile with my arms behind my back. He just stared for awhile with big eyes then all of the sudden I'm being picked up and hugged.

"AWE! My little Red Rose is all grown up." Dad cried, I just smiled and cried a bit and hugged him tight. As he began to rub his cheek against with mine.

"Well she's pretty short that's for sure are you sure she's not still a kid?" Benn smirked. I quickly pulled away.

"Who are you calling short" I said to Benn with a scowl set on my face.

"Well I don't see anyone else who's shorter then you"

"Yeah yeah well well your just freakishly tall.'hmph'" I said with a pout.

"It's good to see you kid" Benn said with  a smirk.

"come on guys lets party since my little Red Rose is here with us" Dad said everyone cheered and began to drink more. I kinda sweat dropped at them.

"Well Mi pequeña niña I need to leave before your father drags me into his drinking" My Uncle said as he moved over to me and gave me a hug and a kiss on my forehead.

"Ok Tio see you when I see you" And returned the hug. He then turned around leaving into the jungle until he disappeared. I carefully took off my satchel and set it down carefully. I then turned around to see drinking like it was no tomorrow and having fun.

I chuckled just like old times.

"Hey my little Rose now tell me how you've been since I left you at Dawn Island" Dad asked as he threw his right arm over my shoulder.

"The next couple of days since when you left were great. Until old man Grap showed up and took Luffy to some bandits. You know no big deal." I told him thats when he spit out his drink.

"Wait WHAT?!" Dad shouted. And right by my ear no less.

"HEY WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA SHOUTING INTO MY EAR!" I shouted and punched my dad on the head.

"Owe that hurt why'd you go and have to hit Daddy like that" He asked with a pout and sporting a giant bump on his head.

"Humph, you deserved it as I said you shouted in my ears especially since my ears are very sensitive."I crossed my arms while my ears twitched.

"Oh, sorry sweetie I was just surprised that you meet Grap that's all and I kinda forget that you have heighten senses."

"Hmm, I guess I can forgive you." I said.

"So what happen after he took Luffy?" he asked why he took a sip of his drink.

"Oh yeah after that crazy old man took Luffy I followed him and in the process when we had gotten to the bandits place he said I was going to be his granddaughter-in-Law he said something like becoming Luffy's fiance not sure what he had meant when he said that, but anyway I have an older brother." I said with a cheeky smile.  Dad spit out his drink he then turned pale and fainted all in one go and in the spot.

"UMMM, Benny I think I broke Dad!" I shouted out to Benny.

"Ah, don't worry he'll come around" Benny laughed. After I started to catch up with dad's crew on what they've been up to talking late into the night.

*yawn*

"well looks like someone is tired." Benny said.

"Huh, yeah I guess it has been a long day"

"How about go and rest and you can catch up with your father when he wakes up tomorrow huh"

"Yeah all right goodnight Benn and everyone" I said with tired eyes. I got up from the log I was sitting by and moved over to where my bags where. I took a blanket and made my self comfortable and let sleep take over me.

Yeah I finished this chapter guys sorry for the wait I can't to get to the part where she will be with Luffy. Also Scarlett is just as dense as Luffy when it comes to love just a heads up. Comment and vote guys. Thanks for reading and Hope You Guys Have A Happy New Year.
