"lauren!! get the mail!" i heard my mother yell. i groaned and did as i was told, slipping my shoes and my rain jacket on. we were currently in the middle of a hurricane.

i placed the pile of mail on the kitchen table and then went upstairs to my room, hanging up my rain jacket in the closet on the way.

chloe had gone home after school today, so there were no more annoying whines to fill my ears. thank goodness.

i was just about to get into the shower when my mother called up to me again. "sweetie! you have mail!"

well who could that be? no one ever sends me mail. i quickly ran down the stairs and grabbed the letters from my mom, thanking her as i ran up in the stairs again.

i quickly climbed onto my bed and tore open the first letter in the pile, not caring to see who it was from.

dear lauren,

i don't know what i've done, but whatever it is i'm so sorry. you don't know how many times i've tried to text you or dm you, and i can't. it amazes me how much i love you already, when i haven't met you. i don't even know what you look like!!

i just want you to know, that i'm sorry for everything i've done, and i'm trying my best to make it up to you. i'm not letting brian touch my phone anymore, and i'll do my best to respond to you asap.

oh and, please don't be creeped out by me sending you letters. i know you didn't give me your address. i had my team find your address so i had a way to reach you.

again, i am so sorry for whatever i did, and i promise to try and win you back.

i gasped. shawn sent me these? why couldn't he contact me? i pulled up my contacts and saw that shawn was blocked! who blocked him?

i also opened up twitter and saw that i had apparently unfollowed him. and on instagram i had blocked him.
there was only one person that could do that.

curse her. i opened up the next letter.

dear lauren,

hopefully you weren't so mad at me that you didn't even bother to read this.

to make it up to you, i decided to make a list of the reasons i love you. here it goes.

1) you support me
2) you're so nice
3) you're worried about what other people think
4) you have an amazing sense of humor
5) you're humble

and that's all you get for now. hopefully i can tell you more if you come to my show so i can meet you.

i love you so much, and i'm sorry.

i quickly pulled out my phone to text shawn. he was probably worried sick. i couldn't believe chloe. how'd she even find shawn? did she go through my phone? why didn't she ask me about him? or say something?
