I stood in front of my dorm room, battling with my mind on whether I should knock or just walk in. I mean, Elena and Paige wouldn't mind. But then again, those girls scared me. Just the thought of them sent shivers down my spine.
I decided to go with the second option. I squeezed the knob and walked inside the room. An aroma of bubblegum mixed with mint filled my lungs.
Elena was unpacking her suitcase. At the moment, she had her black laced underwear hanging from her right hand while her left was pressing on the lid of the suitcase.
Paige had her back turned, her locks of wavy blonde hair stood up on her shoulders. She was apparently on the phone, probably talking to her mother.
"Yes, Leah. I know, I know," She sighed as she rolled her eyes in irritation. "You don't have to worry at all," She assured, taking a bite from the apple that she was holding. If you didn't know, Leah was Paige's mother. Paige called her mother by her name.
I took my glance away from Paige and focused on Elena. "What's up?" I smiled, instantly catching her attention.
She quickly turned around, her mouth gaping open in shock. Her underwear fell out of her hand in slow motion and my smile slowly turned neutral. "Hey." I shrugged, walking over to the empty bed which I guess was mine.
"Y-you're here," She gasped, falling down on her bed, ready to face me.
"Yeah...?" I raised my left eyebrow. She nodded and continued on speaking. "Where the hell were you? You sure weren't there in the tour bus. You got the both of us worried!" She exclaimed. She was pretty loud, causing Paige to turn around. When she saw me, relief was flushed all over her face.
"Yeah Leah, I will talk to you later. I have to go now, okay, bye!" She ended the phone call, walking over to me.
"So, you're here," She noted, slowly nodding her head.
"Yeah, my flight got delayed and then you know the rest," I said, shrugging. I wanted to make my explanation as short as possible because a one-hour explanation really wasn't necessary.
"No, tell me!" Elena protested.
"I took a loaned car, OK?" I answered in response. I decided to keep the part about Harry to myself because they didn't need to know that. Thinking that our conversation was over, I plopped down on my bed, ready for a quick nap.
"OK," Paige said, sitting on the edge of my bed.
"Guys," Elena suddenly spoke, making the both of us look at her. "What?" I groaned.
"I have something to tell you guys," She squealed, clapping her hands together like a 5-year old. Well, she technically was one.
"Tell me later, I am hella tired," I yawned, clutching my stomach and turning to my side. "You can't sleep now!" She remarked.
"Why?"
"There's a meeting that's going to happen soon downstairs," She retorted as if it was obvious.
"You guys have fun," I waved my hand, motioning her to go.
"Evelin, it's mandatory," She scolded. Her eyes were narrowed and her eyebrows furrowed. "You have to go," She threatened. "Or else,"
"Ugh!" I mumbled. "I am up, I am up!" I complained, fixing my hair because it was a bit messy.
"Now to what I was saying before," She reminded. "This is important, so listen," She bit her lip before beginning. There was a smile that was playing on the tug of her lips. Her cheeks reddened as she opened her mouth to speak.
