|SEVENTEEN|Alone with Him

After nearly two freaking years, I am back. I think I'm back for good again, with a regular schedule now. I understand that many of my readers are probably not active, but it's okay. Here you go guys, sorry for the looong wait. :)

"I swear you guys are too much," I mutter in disbelief. "This went to an extreme point." I shake my head as I grab on the edge of the bed whilst sitting on it.

"You can't blame me, though. I wasn't part of any of it." Paige defends.

"In my defense, it was all Niall's idea," Elena shrugs.

"Do I look like I care about that?" I snap. "Look, all I want is a normal and fun summer and you," I turn to glare at Elena, "are ruining it. Whatever fantasies you have in your dreams do not exist in this reality, okay?"

Elena begins to giggle softly. "You and Harry are so cute, though,"

I sneer in disgust. "You are disgusting. Elena, I swear, if you do that again, I will kill you. This is your last chance," I warn.

"Okay, fine, I won't do anything." She promises in response.

I sigh, laying back down on the bed.

"Shame you can't join us on the British Museum Tour, you could've made it fun. You know how boring museums can be," Elena mumbles loudly as she finishes tying her hair into a neat ponytail.

"And who's fault is that again?" I jab with saltiness.

Suddenly, a pillow is thrown in my direction. I look up to see Elena with her hands on her hip. "Ughh, I thought we were past this, Evelin!" I roll my eyes, throwing the soft pillow back at her.  "Have fun, you guys," I finally say as the two girls pick up their handbags and are about to exit the room.

Paige looks over her shoulder, "it's just you and Harry now. Alone." She grins at me with squinted eyes. I throw a pillow at her this time.

"You bitch!" Paige laughs and is about to copy my actions before being dragged out of the doorway by Elena.  I let out a heavy breath, realizing I am going to be alone in this room without any company. If Harry had not acted so violently, we all could've gone on this trip. I don't understand why I was held accountable for Harry's actions. I was clearly a victim. As much as I loved my friends, why didn't Niall and them also get in trouble since they were the ones who planned this anyway? Nothing made sense, and it was just so unfair. I felt my stomach growl, and I realized I hadn't had any breakfast. I looked around the small room to see find anything that was consumable. I was disappointed to find nothing. I really didn't want to head downstairs to the public lunch area. What if I encountered Harry? Encountering that boy was the last thing I wanted right now.

I quickly slipped into a pair of slides and tightened the scrunchie that was holding up my ponytail before heading downstairs. To my luck, it was only me. I continued heading towards the cafeteria, where two or three staff were in sight. I took my breakfast and my hot chocolate to the picnic area outdoors. I was happily isolated and I was glad.

I was happily taking small sips from my hot chocolate when I saw a figure stand in front of me. I looked up to see Harry looking down at me with no expression. My heart pounded for a mere second before I went back to taking small sips and pretending that I didn't notice his presence. Frowning, he sat across from me. He was clearly waiting for me to speak, but I wouldn't give him any satisfaction.

"Talk to me," He insisted.

This was very awkward. So, I took out my second-best friend who served as a great distraction- my phone. I fiddled with it, scrolling through social media and all when he suddenly made a grab for it.

"Give it back!" I cried, breaking my game of silence.

"Ah, she finally speaks," He murmured. He then stared at my phone's screen, amused by my Instagram feed. I watched him scroll until he stopped to frown.

"Stop going through my things!" Surprisingly, he handed me my phone back. There was a picture of a shirtless model I followed on my feed. Was this why he was frowning?

"I came to talk to you," He announced.

"I don't want to talk to you," I shrugged, standing up and taking my tray to the trash to dump it in. He followed me anyway.

"Stop this, Evelin."

"No," I declared angrily.

"Stop being so stubborn!"

His words made me look up. "You're calling me stubborn? You're the one who won't accept a truce between us! You're the one who treats a kiss like it's nothing, you're the one who-" I am interrupted by a hand placed on my mouth, blocking my ability to talk. Harry removes his palm from my lips before replacing them with his own lips. I almost dissolve to his affection but I instantly push him off. "Do you see what I am talking about? You just kiss like it's nothing!"

"That's what I want to talk to you about," Harry finally says.

I raise my brow, mouthing, 'what?'

He lets out a frustrated sigh. "I've tried to hold this back so many times but I can't help it anymore. My feelings for you keep growing, and at this rate, it's growing rapidly. I don't know what it is about you that makes me so fucking smitten. You're so annoying and childish, but that doesn't stop me from-" I can't pay attention to what he is saying anymore. My eyes are on his beautiful pink lips that are moving. "Are you even paying attention to what I am saying?" He asks with annoyance hinted at his tone.

I grin, shaking my head. This time, I am the one who attacks him with a kiss. He is taken back, but soon he has his arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me in closer. He tastes just as before- like strawberries, and I love it. His embrace is so warm, I don't want to ever let go.
