It had been at least a week since I had come to London, and things were quite different from America. Other than Harry giving me the death eyes all week long, everything was going great! I still didn't feel bad about the prank at all. I mean, I gave no little care. I wasn't bothered at the least if he was mad at me. After all, he was a jerk.

After that day, I avoided sitting with Harry. Elena though, was being clingy with Niall. They were always flirting with each other. It was sickening. How they would twinkle their eyes and smile all lovey-dovey. The way they interacted was crazy! And the fact that they had grown so close in less than two weeks... that was even crazier!

"Hey Evelin, I'm gonna go out, so I leave you responsible for this dorm," Elena mumbled as her boots made clicking sounds as she pulled open the door. She was on her phone as she turned to me.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Somewhere..." She hesitantly replied, ready to leave the room.

"Like?" I wasn't going to let her go without her answering me. Though I already had a clue on what she was up to, I still wanted clarification.

She didn't answer, forcing me to read aloud my mind.

"You're going with Niall, aren't you?" I asked, staring up at her. She bit her lip in resistant before spluttering out a loud, "Y---yess!"

"Well, okay then." I nodded.

"Yeah. He's so nice, and he treats me well!" She reasoned.

"Where's Paige?" I interrupted. I didn't see her around for a long time today.

"She went to the library," Elena answered.

"There's a library here?" I asked, fascinated. I never knew such thing.

"Yeah. It's just two blocks away. I can show you sometimes if you'd like," Elena suggested, already heading out of the door. "I have to go now, or else I will be really late. One thing I learned, Niall isn't patient. So, goodbye!" She waved before the door shut behind her.

Great. I was lonely and there was nothing to do. But, my eyes immediately turned to my phone, which was charging. I hadn't talked to my dad since last night, and I had already started to miss him. I also wanted to know what was going on back in Nevada. How was Nanny Bessie? How was Luke? How was Bella, my precious dog?

After two rings, my dad finally picked up.

"Evie!" He called in a refreshing tone as soon as he answered. I could hear the excitement in his voice. Evie was my nickname. Only my dad was allowed to call me that.

"Dad, I missed you!" I cried, ready to confess and tell him all about London.

"I know, so did I! You know, you could've never gone to London, then we wouldn't miss each other so much," He exclaimed in a calm way. "I mean, if you wanted to go so badly, I could've taken you there... with our private jet. You could've always preferred that" He shrugged over the phone.

"I know, I know." I sighed, rubbing my temple gently. "It's just that... I hardly ever get to do anything with Elena and Paige. Whenever they do something, I can't do it. So, I wanted to spend some time with them," I reasoned in a low tone. I swear I could see him roll his eyes over the phone.

"Evelin... Oh, my sweet Evelin..." He cried out softly. "I don't get why you are so physically in touch with those girls, you don't need friends, honey. All you need is our business, Nevada, me, and Zayn." He trailed off, I could hear him fidgeting as he let out a cough.

I was just about to say something in defense before I realized what he had said.

"Zayn?" My heart started to beat rapidly as soon as dad finished enunciating his name.

Zayn.

The one whom I'd been crushing on for so many years. He was my childhood best friend. But then he moved to Dubai for business with his family.

Dad chuckled to himself softly. "Sweetheart, I knew you'd be excited. Yes, this was one of my surprises for my beautiful daughter," He teased.

My cheeks flushed as I was eager to ask more questions. "What do you mean? What's happening now?" I asked, confused. My mind was going back and forth in a whirlwind pattern, trying to make possible conclusions.

"Zayn's coming back, honey. He's coming back," He repeated in a delighted tone. I felt like my heart had stopped beating at that very moment.

"... He's coming back?" I repeated, unsurely.

"Yes, love." He answered happily. "Zayn is coming back,"

I closed my lids for a second before taking a huge breath.

Zayn is coming back.

Zayn is coming back.

My mind kept on repeating.

"Evie? You still there?" He questioned my presence, making me zone back.

"Yeah, I am..." I answered quickly. "Gotta go, dad. Paige is here, talk to you later," I quickly lied, before hanging up on him.

I simply couldn't believe it.

After 7 years had passed by, he was finally coming back. After all these years, he was finally coming home. To us, to the business. To me.

"Evelin?" Paige's voice questioned as I heard the door close. I turned around to see her with a handful of books loaded.

"You seem... very bright and in a good mood, everything good?" She assured, smirking. "I haven't seen you so happy ever since Harry took a sip out of that milkshake..." She noted, giving a hopeful smile.

The minute she said his name, I was back into my normal, grumpy mood. Sighing, I got up and headed to the bathroom. With a groan, I shut the door behind me.
