Knock.

Knock.

Knock.

I perked up to the knocking. It sounded so familiar. As if I were a dog, my head and chest were trying to pin point where the knocking was coming from.

I settled on the door. It wasn't the door to the basement I was in, but the door to the house itself.

Knock.

Knock.

KNOCK.

Oh god.. I know that knock. I started to panic. I was my scared, wimpy self again, freaking out as I stood in the middle of the room. I twirled my hoodie strings in fear as I started to have a panic attack.

I started just saying things. I didn't control it, it just came. Things from "No!" multiple times to "I don't wanna go back!" and everything in between. I heard faint footsteps, but I was trapped in my mind to pay attention to it.

Dark's POV

I heard Anti and I ran downstairs. I saw him moving and talking and I was overjoyed, but my smile faltered when I payed attention to the movements and sayings I was getting excited over.

"No no no no no!

I don't want to feel pain anymore!

Please don't make me go back!

I'll be good!

I promise!

I don't want to see them again!"

All these things were just spilling out as he panicked in the middle of the room. He was clutching his head and facing the other way, slumping downwards a bit and having his weight pulled to the ground.

He fell to his knees, his voice escalating to screams of fear.

"PLEASE!

DON'T TAKE ME AWAY!

YOU WERE WRONG!

YOU WERE ALL WRONG!

I DON'T WANNA SEE YOU ALL AGAIN!

JUST PLEASE DON'T TAKE ME BACK!"

He was breaking down in front of my eyes, in front of my being. I could hear him sobbing now, now also hearing the loud knocks from the door.

Realizing I wasn't doing shit to help, I ran to in front of him and knelt down to his height.

His eyes were closed, fast tears painting his face, hands messing up his hair. I put my hands on his shoulder and shook him.

"Anti?! Anti what wro-" He suddenly hugged me and jumped closer, his arms around my lower back tightly and his head in my chest with his onslaught of tears staining it.

"Dark! Don't let them take me away! I'm sorry for going crazy! I'm sorry for hurting you all! For being a bother! Just don't let them take me back! The time I've spent here with you has been the happiest in my entire, messed up life! Just please don't make me leave!" I gently put my arms around him, relieving him slowly.

"Anti, I won't let you get taken away from me. Never, ever. Just calm down, okay?" He nodded into my chest as he started to calm down and his slowly stopped.

"I love you, Anti. You'll always be my little darling green bean." I smiled down on him as he cuddled into me.

Footsteps come down to basement fast and loud. Thinking it was Mark and Jack, I kept looking down at my poor little demon. He started to speak.

"D- Dark.. I lov-" He was cut off and I looked to see him being taken away by some of the guards from the prison thing he's from. "Let go of me!" He struggled to get out of the guard's grasp but no success. He was way taller than both of us so he easily picked Anti off the ground.

I stood up to run to him but was stopped by another guard. "What's going on?!" I was angry. My voice showed that.

"Don't worry, Mr. Darkiplier. We'll take care of him."

"What do you mean 'take care of him'?!"

"Let. Me. GO!" I heard Anti start to growl as another guard came and started to switch his shock collar.

"We'll take him away for a loooooooooong time." I started getting angrier.

"There no fucking need!"

"We're just doing our normal procedures on him. Then we'll take him away so he won't hurt anyone." I looked back at Anti and see a new collar on him, along with a person putting a leash on him.

"I'm not a dog, ya bastards! Lemme go!" Anti tried to get the collar off but failed. I tried to run to him again, the guard pulling me back and keeping me in my place.

"He doesn't want to go back! Let him go!"

"Darkiplier, sir, he always says that. We just need to take him and this'll be the last time we let someone care for him."

My eyes widened. He knew about this. He knew this was his last transfer. That's why he was panicking earlier. He doesn't want to go back. Back to this.

I tried one last time to run over to him. The guard held up a knife to my throats and held my head back. "He isn't worth dying for."

"Yes he is!" I struggled, another guard coming and started to cut my arm open, vertically and slowly.

Then Anti saw me.

Anti kicked the guard holding him off and tried to run to me, having him choke and get pulled backwards from the leash he was on. He didn't stop trying to reach me as he tried to crawl forwards as the guard holding the leash pulled back. He was choking, almost dying..

For me.

I winced at the pain as the guard reached my elbow and continued to go upwards to my shoulder, still slowly.

Anti wasn't giving up but I could see the life within his eyes start to slowly fade.

Then zap.

Someone pressed the button to shock him.

But he held the button down, having him be shocked longer than usual. He winced, trying so hard to get to me. The shocking stopped, and before the guards left with an almost dead, unconscious Anti over one of their shoulders, he said one thing to get them to leave me alone.

"Hurt me all you want. Kill me even. Just don't touch Dark."
