Grabbing the warm beanie on my bangs, I tugged on it slightly again to cover my forehead but sincerely, I didn't want to face Jungkook who was sitting opposite me.
"Your hand." He muttered.
I looked up in confusion as I felt a gentle grip as he held my right hand in front of him.
The streets were still silent as ever. I never got to see the victim of the abuse earlier, I wonder what he did to earn a beating from them.
I tried to pull my hand back when I felt a sting on my cut that was being treated. Glancing up at Jungkook who was dabbing some alcoholic wipes onto the injury, I looked down again.
I don't understand. He had found out everything.
Yet, we were in an alley, and I wasn't fired yet. Ironically, he was treating my wound. From the way I see it, it was just an act out of pity. I leaned my back against the alley wall as I brought my legs close to me while Jungkook sat directly in front.
"W-Why are you-" I managed to say.
"Sorry." He interrupted nonchalantly.
He met my gaze for some seconds.
"Hurting you wasn't part of my plan yesterday."
I didn't really care now. He had already discovered everything about me.
Flinching in pain, I desperately tried to pull my hand back.
"Yah. Don't move."
He stared at me before grabbing a white bandage out of his pocket.
"When did you get all this." I pointed at all the alcoholic wipes on the ground.
"When you left. I grabbed some before looking for you."
"O-Oh."
The silence continued on for a while.
"So...can I go home. Since I'm fired?"
"...You're not fired." Jungkook muttered out as he stuck the bandage onto my wrist.
"W-Why not?"
"I haven't told anyone."
I kept quiet. My head was filled with questions.
"Yah. Shouldn't you be grateful? What's with that look on your face?"
I glanced up to see Jungkook frowning.
"Why are you frowning?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"That's what you look like."
"It's not."
"Yes it is."
"No it's not." I emphasized.
Jungkook chuckled slightly before reaching out his hand towards me. Unexpectedly, I retreated back before instantly gripping my rod underneath my skirt.
I blinked in surprise of my sudden movements. Staring at Jungkook, I realized he gave me a somewhat sad smile. Closing my eyes in slight fear, he reached out and brushed my bangs back.
"Oh what's that?"
"Huh?"
Before I realized, he had already noticed the rod that I was holding and grabbed it out of my thigh strap as he stood up.
"Y-Yah!" I hurriedly stood up.
"What is this meant to be...?" Jungkook examined it.
Desperately, I jumped to reach the silver rod that he held up high.
"Why do you carry it?" He stared at me.
"G-give it back!"
In seconds, I gripped my rod as Jungkook lowered his arm. Yes.
As I tried to strap it back beneath my skirt, Jungkook was gradually approaching me. Immediately, I steadied my stance before flicking the rod in a whipping manner in the air to let it extend. I held it in front of me to prevent him from taking any more steps to me since the stone wall was behind me.
"D-Don't come any closer..."
He cocked his head to the side amusingly before continued to walk towards me.
"Y-Yah. I told you not to come closer." I retreated back a little.
"What are you going to do?"
"I-If you attack me, I'll have to report you to the police." I shuffled back more.
I moved my rod forward swiftly, he took a step back in surprise.
"Don't come closer."
I widened my eyes as he reached out his hand and gripped the center of my rod before pushing forward.
Struggling, I gathered my energy to push back as he easily had me leaning against the rough wall, confining me inside. Glancing at Jungkook, I expected the dangerous stare that always had me paralyzed to the spot.
Yet, this time, he expressed a sense of amusement.
"So... are you going to report me?" That tone of amusement annoys me.
"...I-If you are the criminal..."
"Have you found any evidence?"
I stayed quiet. He slightly chuckled again.
"Mi Young are you even doing your job properly? Aren't you meant to find evidence and prove me guilty?"
"I-I haven't found any..."
He grabbed the rod out of my hands before contracting it back to its original state. I glared at his actions.
He learns fast...
"And don't even try to beat me with strength." He smirked as he brushed his hair back. "Here catch."
I hurriedly caught the rod that was thrown to me as he turned around to walk out of the alley.
"Let's go."
He spun around before giving me a smirk.
"Noona~"
I stood there in realization.
Oh. That's right. I'm his noona. I'm older than him.
I mentally face palmed myself.
Yet, he was threatening me. I seemed to be the younger one.
"Jungkook. Did you drop the formalities the entire time?" I ran up to him before seeing him biting his lip as he held in his laugh.
Suddenly, I remembered. "Oh Jungkook here." I took off the red beanie and handed it to him.
In return, he stopped walking before facing me and put it on my hair again. Blushing, I looked up as he gently pulled it down to cover my ears.
"You're blushing noona. Your ears are red."
Sometimes I really feel like I'm the younger one...
