~Day of job interview~
Wandering around the unfamiliar town, I held a small piece of paper close to my chest. Even though the address was clearly written on the paper, I admit that I have a bad sense of direction.
Glancing around at the empty buildings and houses, I sensed a feeling of eeriness. Perhaps it was the piercing cold that penetrates my clothes causing me to be aware of the surroundings or perhaps it was the odd atmosphere of this deserted place.
I listened carefully, the sound of leaking water somewhere near. The silent plops as droplets of liquid rejoined with ebbing water, emphasizing the peculiar silence in the town.
I grabbed out my phone and earphones before scrolling down the thousands of songs that I had downloaded. My fingers hovered above numerous choices.
No. I heard this yesterday...
Played this at least 60 times already...
So boring...
I glanced around my surrounds.
It would be great if there was at least someone here...
The silence is killing me everywhere I go...
I quickly checked my contacts and realized the lack of choices I had. Before long, I was aimlessly searching around.
I don't even know Mr Jun's number... aannnddd I don't know my parents number since the time they went out the country...
A couple of teenage boys dashed across the road. Black bags was hauled on each of their shoulders. I stared at a piece of green paper that gradually slipped out of one bag.
I cocked my head a little to the side.
Did they rob money?
Unexpectedly, my phone rang out a bell sound. I stared at the message that was sent to me.
Mi Young, have you arrived at the company?
Mr Jun, I'm near the company, but there's a couple of teenagers who just seemed to have robbed money, would you like me to return the money?
Don't worry over small things and go to the company now.
Yes, Mr Jun.
I hurriedly put my phone away and studied the address again.
I'm used to this. The world that I used to know no longer exist, even if the reality is cruel. Crimes, robbery, and even murder. The world is stained with "impurity" as Mr Jun says.
Where are you BigHit???
Annoyed, I sighed frustratingly.
I flinched a little as a heard a couple of whispered and snickers behind me. The comments were clearly directed towards me.
My hands instinctively dropped to my skirt, before brushing up the fabric slightly and sensing the familiar coldness of a metal surface.
Ahhh I'll explain that later...
Unexpectedly, a figure walked out onto the road, stopping at about 8m distance while facing me.
