Confused, I looked up at him.

To see his lips curve into a smirk.

"In Ha noona~ I thought you don't work here anymore~" Jungkook smiled. 

"I-I s-still d-do..." She stuttered.

I stood awkwardly between them, glancing at their faces. 

"Let's spend some time together when you're free." His smile remained on his lips, though it felt different. 

I glimpsed his gaze on In Ha and in no time, the atmosphere felt rather odd. 

"Mi Young... T-Timjang-nim is looking for you... L-Let's go..." In Ha's eyes turned to me before dragging me away. 

"What's wrong In Ha? You're sweating." I stared at the beads of sweat that rested on her fringe. 

"It's nothing." She held my shoulders tight. "Mi Young... I want to tell you one thing... please..." 

She suddenly sighed before letting go of my shoulders. "Never mind... Let's go meet up with the others..." 

I stood stiffly beside Jungkook, head low as my ears were filled with shouts. My eyes twitched a little as the team leader Ji Eun continued to scold me from the accidental mistake I had made. 

I glimpsed the young boy beside me try to calm the team leader down as another staff tried to rub out the crooked eyeliner that I applied onto Jungkook's eyes.

All the new employees glared at me while whispering to one another. 

...So much for being "unnoticed"...

I sighed a little as I worried about the camera exam I took just a few minutes ago. 

I'll be fired if I failed that exam too...

My head hung low as every single employee stared intensely at me.

"Mi Young! We do not accept this kind of mistake at our company. We will not accept this kind of mistake-." The team leader droned on. 

I heard fast footsteps running my way, I backed away a little as a male staff barged through the new employees and interrupted the scolding session. 

"Mi Young!! You're Mi Young right!?? Your camera skills are exceptional!! We are so happy to have you in our company!! I'm the team leader responsible for camera work, hope to work well with you!!" The male shook my hands energetically. 

I looked up to female team leader Ji Eun who was scolding me, to see her sighing. 

"Oh Ji Eun! What are you doing here?" The male turned to her. 

"If you have nothing else to say, go away Mun Syuk..." The female sighed again before rubbing her temples.

I looked up to see the gaze of her before hurriedly bowing at both leaders and escaping the terrifying crowd. 

I exerted a breath of relief.

Well it looks like I won't be fired then...

I glanced around, hoping to catch any sight of In Ha. After a while, I caught sight of her, before I could yell out her name I realised that someone was sitting next to her. 

Jungkook...

He sat close beside In Ha while she stared at the ground. 

My attention shifted as my phone received a message. 

I stared at the unknown number that had messaged me. Swiftly, I hid behind a wall. 

How did you go in the exam, Mi Young?

Who is this?

It's Mr Jun's son~ 

Oh. Min Jun! Annyeonghaseyo. 

You don't need to be so formal... :) So how did you go? 

It was alright...

Haha that's great. I'll see you around sometime and be careful of Jungkook. 

Ne.

You're being formal again . Oh. Have you got any information on him yet? 

I stopped texting and glanced at the 2 figures who sat in the distance. My fingers hesitantly hovered above my phone screen. 

I replied. 

No. Not yet.
