"He's back."
I watched as Min Jun exerted a heavy sigh.
"Him?"
He nodded slightly as he reached into his pocket. Placed before me; on the bed mattress, were 3 photos. The grotesque forms of the "beings" - I had assumed - were nearly unrecognisable. However, a similar feature lies on all three figures. There were obvious strips of profound cuts on each being. They had covered three quarters of their bodies. The other quarter? Blood.
"This is the boy who was murdered in the tunnel."
Min Jun had immediately noticed the change in my expressions as he kept quiet for a moment.
The frown on my face had remained. The murder was so horrendous that no words dared to fall out from my agape mouth. But, that wasn't all. The other part of the reason was because I became afraid of what was going to come.
"This is Mun Syuk..." Min Jun muttered.
My eyes averted away from Min Jun's glance. The tears were threatening to fall. I didn't want to hear what was next.
"and...In...Ha," Min Jun seemed to whisper.
Lowering my head, I stared down at my skirt while gripping the hem of my shirt. I felt his hand brush against my bangs. The familiar warmth had come back.
***
The sleeves of my shirt were mostly drenched in tears as they had continued to fall. I had been sitting by my bedside in the cabin for half a day straight, crawled up into a ball as I sobbed.
Lifting my head, I exerted a sigh before wiping away my remaining tears. Gripping my skirt, I grabbed onto my bed before forcefully lifting my body off the wooden floor. The kind words of Ji Eun Timjang-nim came across my mind incessantly.
In Ha won't want to see me like this...
"Mi Young?"
Following the voice, I glanced slightly towards the door.
"Min Jun?"

Gradually, he lifted his hand off my hair before taking in a breath. I blinked away the tears.
"Have you got any idea who it is?"
Min Jun stated before collecting the 3 photos on the bed and stuffing them in his pocket.
"It is the same person right?"
He pursed his lips before nodding.
"Yep. The exact same blade cuts."
"No one suspicious was out last night?" I asked.
"Nope." Min Jun shook his head. "Jungkook did suddenly appear in the morning. Looking at his clothes, it seemed like he did spend last night somewhere else."
"Yea...did you ask his members? If he was out last night?"
"They said that they don't know if he was out of the cabin last night. But they didn't expect Jungkook to return to the cabin in the morning. They thought that he was inside."
I stayed silent.
"Mi Young, keep a closer eye on Jungkook." He said.
I nodded.
I don't know if Jungkook is actually guilty. But one thing is for sure.
He's here. On the campsite. The criminal.
