Lucinda changed clothes and went outside with Bonnie. Damon followed Kai who held the Ascendant. Bonnie rolled her eyes. "You could of show us the Ascendant to begin with." Kai smirked. "Yeah, but I wanted to feel one of Luci's hands on my chest." Lucinda blushed and looked at her hands. Bonnie picked up newspapers from the ground. She looked at Damon and Lucinda. "Look at this. Family massacred at Portland, Oregon. Only alive was 22 year old boy, Malachai Parker." Lucinda's eyes widened. Kai laughed. "Who names a kid Malachai? It's like they expected me to be evil." Bonnie looked at Kai in disbelief. "You killed your whole family?" Kai scoffed. "Hello! Not everyone died. I had a soft spot for my twin sister. So I only took out her spleen." Lucinda took hold of Damon's hand and looked at Kai, terrified. "You took out her spleen?" Kai smiled and nodded. "Yes, you can survive without the spleen." Bonnie shook her head. "I'm not helping a sociopath." With that said she turned around and run in house. Lucinda let out a shaky breath. Kai frowned when he saw the look on her face. She was afraid. He didn't understand. He got pleasure out of frightened looks. But her look gave him an unfamiliar feeling. It was like he didn't want her to be scared. Lucinda sat in living room, reading a book. Kai walled into room and smiled. He sat across from her. Lucinda didn't even noticed him. Kai coughed and Lucinda jumped letting out a squeal. "Kai! You scared me." Kai kept quiet, only smiling at her. Lucinda looked at him confused. He was making her nervous, not to mention she was scared of what he could do. "Is everything okay?" Kai nodded. "Yes. You just look so cute reading." Lucinda blushed and looked back at her book. Kai chuckled. He stood up and went to walk out of room. "See you later, Luci." And with that said he walked out. Lucinda shook her head. She couldn't think about him like that. He was a sociopath, he was evil. But he made her like no one ever could. Lucinda heard yelling from the kitchen. She run in and saw Bonnie holding her wrist and Damon stood in front of her. Kai was smiling and eating pancake. "So what's gonna be?" Bonnie nodded and Damon clenched his jaw. Lucinda blinked. Kai probably make them take him with us. He looked at Lucinda and smiled. "We are going home tomorrow."
