Lucinda sat and watched as Jo practiced magic. She was failing. Damon walked through the front door and looked around. His eyes stopped on a Liv. "Are you wearing my shirt?" His phone ringed and he sarcastically smiled. "Magic Camp, how may I help you?" His eyes widened. "Elena, calm down. Elena!" Lucinda stood up and looked worried. Damon looked at his sister. "Kai took Elena. They are at school." Lucinda's eyes widened and she turned to rest of people in room. "We need a plan." Lucinda was in front of school. She looked at Damon and Liv. "I'll distract him. You save Elena." Damon nodded and kissed Lucinda's forehead. "Just be careful, sis." Lucinda walked in and saw Kai. He looked up and his eyes widened. "Luci?" Kai couldn't stand her judging look. "What are you doing, Kai? This is not you. Why did you kidnap Elena?" Kai stepped closer to her but she moved a step back. He felt his heart breaking. She doesn't trust him. "I'm sorry. It's just that I need this merge. I need to be the leader." Lucinda shook her head. "It doesn't have to happen like this. You can't kill your sister." Kai laughed. "I can and I will. I don't care." Lucinda titled her head to left. "Have you never cared for anyone?" Kai looked at her. Her green eyes looked curious. Her strawberry blonde, curly hair falls down her shoulder. She was biting her lip waiting for his answer. He did care about one person. He still does. And it's her. "I do. I am not sure if she cares about me." Lucinda smiled slightly. "I am sure she does. She would be crazy not to." Kai went to say something when he heard a crash. He looked at Lucinda who looked worried. "Stay here." Lucinda started walking but an invisible barrier stopped her. Kai trapped her. She huffed. She heard Damon's voice and then Kai's. Suddenly there was a slight grunt and the barrier disappeared. She run towards the noise and saw Kai on floor, Damon holding Elena, Alaric holding unconscious Jo and Jeremy standing with a crossbow. They put Kai to sleep so he wouldn't try anything. Lucinda spend the night next to him. She was sure that he can change. She needed to do that so nobody would die.
