The days had passed on.
Analeigh woke to a gloomy morning. It was raining outside of her window and the cold winter , Liverpool air was churning the clouds in the sky.
"This just looks like a bad day." Analeigh grumbled as she slid out of bed to start a new day.
She shrugged off her thick, red and black, plaid pajama pants and long-sleeved black thermal she had had for at least 8 years, and hopped into the shower.
She sat in the floor of the tub with her legs pressed to her chest and her head laying on top of her knees. Her eyes were open and her arms seemed to wrap around her whole body; holding her together as water and maybe even a few tears streamed down her face. Evelyn had gone home and now it was just her in this massive house.
Analeigh struggled out of the shower and into her robe. She had just finished brushing out her hair when she heard three small knocks on the door. Analeigh descended the steps two at a time and threw open the door. There in the doorway stood three Beatles, but not the one she was dying to see. She furrowed her brows and looked to John.
"He'll be right along, love." he reassured her as the three of them shoved into the house and crashed in random places among the floor and furniture.
Analeigh couldn't wait though. She rushed out into the winter day with wet hair and wearing nothing but a robe. Running, she went to him down the long winding driveway to the car parked just a little ways away.
Paul's back was turned towards her as her bare feet pounded on the rocky driveway. Paul turned toward the sound and was immediately attacked by an all too happy Analeigh.
"Paul!" she breathed as she kissed all over his face.
"Analeigh! My god! You must be freezing.." he said as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her. "I'm home. Honey, I'm home." he whispered into her hair.
They walked to the house together silently, side by side.
