The next morning Analeigh woke up with her head against Paul's chest and her arm thrown across his waist. He was fast asleep with his arms laying lazily around her. Analeigh turned her head up and kissed his chin, then sat up and kissed him right on the lips. He woke up to the second and grinned a grin that made her heart skip a beat.
"Morning, love." he said with a stretch and a yawn.
"Good morning!" said Analeigh cheerfully.
"Some one is happy this morning." Paul said with amusement.
"I just slept well, that's all. I always sleep better when someone is next to me."
"Really? I usually sleep worse. Though last night was an exception." he admitted.
"Do you think the boys are up?" asked Analeigh.
"Probably not. They don't usually wake up until noon, unless they smell food." said Paul with a laugh.
"Well, I'll just have to make breakfast then." she said with a smile.
Analeigh got out of bed and stretched, making the already short shirt come above her waist. Paul observed her with mild hunger. She turned to the side and caught him eyeing her. "See something you like, love?" she said echoing his words from earlier.
"Indeed, I do." he replied getting up from the bed.
He put his arms around her waist, making hers instantly go to his neck. Standing on her tiptoes, she kissed him lightly. When Analeigh was about to pull away, Paul deepened the kiss, picking her up off her feet. Her legs wrapped around his waist, and with breakfast forgotten, he took her to the bed. Paul laid her down while never stopping the kiss. He was in between her legs and his boxers and her underwear were doing very little to separate them. He grinded against her and kissed down her neck. Oh God, thought Analeigh. I shouldn't be letting this happen. But she was going to. He kept moving against her, and her body was responding. Paul couldn't believe he was doing this. She's not a bird. She's not a bird. Stop treating her like one, he kept telling himself. With one last slow, grinding motion, he unwillingly stopped and put his forehead against hers. With a heavy sigh, he stroked her cheek and got off the bed. Analeigh, still breathing hard on the bed, stared at him in surprise. She could definitely see the bulge that was hidden by his boxers, and could clearly feel the wetness that had formed between her legs.
"Why'd you stop?" she asked him with a shaky voice.
After taking a second to compose himself, he cleared his throat, looked steadily into her eyes, and replied, "I don't want to treat you like I have every other girl. I want to..." he searched for the right words and could grasp none, so settled with, "show you you're more to me than they were. And I know we haven't known each other for more than 3 days, but already we have more in common than I've had with anyone who wasn't John. And he's not much of a lover." he joked at the end.
She smiled at him with appreciation. "I'm glad. I don't want to ruin our relationship by moving too fast. I was actually going to let you that time." she giggled still shaking a bit. "It's probably a good thing you stopped."
He hugged her and they slipped into their clothes.
Going downstairs hand in hand, they saw George was still asleep on the floor. The house was silent except for the rain that was coming down outside, so Paul and Analeigh went quietly to the kitchen to look for food. Paul got out the flour and started rolling out biscuits while Analeigh made scrambled eggs and bacon. Smelling the food, George sauntered into the kitchen.
" Morning. I'm starved." said George with a stretch and a yawn.
"Of course you are!" said Paul with a moan.
A few minutes later the other two boys shuffled down the stairs, said good morning, and made their plates. Now all sitting at the table, they made small conversation over breakfast.
"How long are you going to be staying at the Lord Nelson?" asked Ringo to Analeigh.
"I'm not really sure. Not for much longer though. It's getting really expensive, and I need to find a house so I can have a bigger studio." she replied.
All four of The Beatles mumbled their agreements. "I know what ye mean." said John. "I can't be livin' with Mimi the rest of my life."
"If I don't move out soon, I think I'll go mad. This week has been bliss." said George.
"Why don't we all just get a house together?" asked Paul.
"I don't see why we couldn't." said John thinking. "I've never actually thought about it. That would make it easier for all of us."
"We have a day off shows." said Ringo. "Why not go look today?"
" 'Suppose we could." shrugged George. "My parents are gonna have a fit." he laughed.
Analeigh stayed quiet, assuming the invitation wasn't opened to her since she hadn't known them for a very long time. Plus, living with a bunch of boys? Aren't men what people always warned her about? Shaking her head, she picked up the plates and took them to the sink to be washed. The boys went into the living room to discuss the situation.
"What do you lads think about Analeigh coming to live with us? She could help with the house, and it would be nice to split the rent 5 ways.. And she doesn't know that many people in Liverpool. The Cavern pays little to none when you're living in a hotel." Paul said pleading her case.
"I don't see why that would be a problem." said John. "I like the girl. It all depends if she wants to or not, Paul. have you even asked her?"
"No. Not just yet." said Paul.
"Well then ask her!" replied George and Ringo in synchronization.
"We don't have a problem with her either." said George with a lazy smile and a shrug. "And she can cook!"
Paul went to the kitchen to speak to Analeigh. When he walked into the kitchen she was still washing dishes, so he went over to help her dry them. They didn't speak for a moment, just the sound of the water running, plates and forks squeaking clean, and the repeated pattern of their light breaths.
"So.." said Paul a bit hesitantly. "I..well, me and the lads were wondering if maybe you would like to come look at houses too? And ya know..maybe move in with us? It would help on the rent with 5 people paying it, and I thought you might not want to live alone in a country you're not familiar with just yet." he finished looking up shyly from the dish he was drying.
Analeigh stayed quiet. Then, " Yeah. Yeah, that'd be great." she said a bit incredulous. "I really like spending time with you guys, and that would definitely help out on the money situation."
"Gr..great!" stuttered Paul. "We should probably all start getting ready soon."
"All right. You guys can have the shower first if you want." said Analeigh.
"Oh, no. You don't want to do that." laughed Paul. "Go on and get in there. I'll finish this up for you." he said taking a dirty dish from her hand.
"Oh. Well, all right." Analeigh shrugged.
She left the kitchen and walked up stairs to shower.
When she got out of the shower and began walking to the spare bedroom she realized she didn't have any clothes to wear. When she opened the bedroom door she saw Paul standing there taking off his jacket. Her face flushed a bit, but she said coolly, "Where have you been?"
"I ran to your hotel and mine and John's houses." he said. Motioning to the bed, "I brought some of your clothes. I hope that was all right."
"Yeah! That's great. I was just thinking about how I didn't have any clothes. Thank you." she said appreciatively.
He walked out of the room to let her change, closing the door behind him, but not before he saw her drop her towel. He groaned loudly in the hallway, and heard her giggle. Bloody girls with their teasing, he thought walking to the bathroom.
