"Are you ready to meet your new family?"
She tore her gaze from the window, where snow was starting to pile up on the ground, and looked at the man seated opposite from her. The man had been nice to her throughout the whole two day trip. She looked sad having to be taken away from her family and put into orphanage. It was the fire that started it all. It wasn't long after till someone decided to adopt her.
"I guess so," replied Elsa.
"Now Elsa, we promised your parents that we would take good care of you. You'll love your new home. I promised to give you your own room, too. Ooh! And you'll have two younger siblings!"
The little 7 year old girl smiled. She liked the thought of being the eldest. She'll be living in a nice cozy house and eat tasty food and have nice clothes. Not like she didn't have a nice house or good food before, but she'll be living with a rich family.
The train passed by a large house, larger than anything Elsa had seen. Her jaw dropped and the man chuckled softly at her surprise.
"You've never seen a castle before, have you?"
"No."
The castle was by far the most beautiful one (and only one) she's ever seen:
Six massive, round towers surround the castle in almost a perfect circle around this incredible castle and are connected by giant, thin walls made of blue stone and white marble. Stylish windows are scattered here and there around the walls in seeminly perfect symmetry, along with symmetric crenelations for archers and artillery. A sizable gate with broad wooden doors and various artillery equipment offers a safe home to all those in need in these cold mountains, but it's not the only way in, which fortunately only very few know. Various large houses are scattered outside the castle gates, surprisingly the rich are comfortable with living outside the gates as well.
Well kept gardens with fragrant flowers, gorgeous trees and many bushes decorate the outside of the castle. This castle looks very new, but without knowing its history it's impossible to tell if it's a newly build castle or a well kept one.
"Well, this here is the Overland Palace. It's been here for over 6 generations. Ooh! And you see over there? That's the little prince standing next to his father, the King himself."
Elsa turned her eyes to who her stepfather was talking about. The prince. He was around Elsa's age. He had very pale skin, crystal blue eyes, and hair as white as snow. Elsa watched as he, and a little girl younger than him with auburn hair and brown eyes, played in the snow with their winter clothes on. The little girl reminds Elsa of her own sister, Anna.
Their train departed just half a mile from the palace. The man, Elsa's new father, had hopped off the train, holding Elsa's shaky hand as they walked off into the quiet, but lively streets and toward their house.

"Ah! Here we are!" said the man, Elsa's stepfather.
"I don't want to go in," said Elsa, hiding behind the man.
"We must. You will love it here, I promise."
Elsa looked up at the house. Huge compared to her old house, which had a farm and animals. It would be difficult for her to adjust to this kind of life.
Just before Elsa could get to the door with her stepfather by her side, 2 young girls ran right out the door.
"Daddy!" They both screamed in unison. "We've missed you sooo much!" said the older looking girl. She had blonde hair and green eyes. The girl to her right was much smaller with copper brown hair and green eyes. They were squeezing the life out of their father.
