"Thanks." Elsa was pulled up by a very familiar looking face. He had sea-blue eyes and blonde hair as light as her own. He was very tall, handsome, and had very fair skin. He's a nobleman. He swiftly pulled Elsa back on to her feet.
"Not a problem, my lady." The stranger bowed to Elsa and introduced himself. "My name is Sir Edmond Damian Arens. It's a pleasure to meet you Miss...."
"Oh. Umm.. I'm Elsa. Elsa Corona." Elsa always hated using the Corona's last name, but they were now her family, and her old one was long forgotten. She was sure she remembered this man from somewhere. The last name Arens kept ringing in her head. This Edmond person looked a lot like her. He had a suspicious looking face when she mentioned her name, but recovered it quickly with his boyish grin.
"Well then, it's a pleasure to meet you Elsa." He bowed again. "And please be careful next time you dance," he said, winking at her then walking away. Elsa rolled her eyes and went searching for her friends, but she froze when she spotted Mrs. Corona making her way towards the table where she told Elsa to stay put in. Quickly, she ran past the dozens of people in her way and sat on her chair, reaching it before her stepmother spotted her. She got a suspicious glare from her stepmother and walked away. Elsa sighed a breath of relief and went to the dessert table.
She noticed that the waiters had already set out the sweets and treats from the bakery she works in. After taking two of the cupcakes and eating it, she went to go searching for her friends. They all seemed to have a partner they were dancing with or gossiping with other girls their age. She couldn't help but laugh at Merida and Hiccup. Hiccup stood there next to her, striking up a conversation. He seemed so cool and didn't bother to see Merida's angry glares she kept sending him. You could tell how flustered she was. Probably from the dance before where they kept stepping on each other's feet. Elsa's smile only widened more when she saw Mavis and the orange-haired boy. They sure were the stars of the dance floor: so young and alive.
Not far from her stood the prince of Overland conversing with the man who had caught her from the dance of the quadrille. He seemed so charming and yet so businesslike, very similar to the prince's personality. She watched them both intently, leaning in closer to get a grasp of their conversation.
"Are you sure?"
"Positive."
"And you didn't send the troops in yet?"
"No. You haven't commanded us to do so yet, your highness."
"Ah. I guess my father isn't yet aware of this?"
"No, your highness. He isn't the least bit pestered by King Julius. Only sees him as one of our true allies, your highness."
"Well, that wont be for long. Will it now, Edmond?"
"Certainly not, your highness."
And that's exactly how the conversation went. It didn't take long for Elsa to decipher that conversation to mean: "Let there be war."
You see, King Julius of Airedale had always been fond of the country of Overland. It's beautiful cities, lively villages, and rich soil is enough to be greedy about. We risk too much of our supplies to support them in their times of need. But, they ask for too much, leaving us helpless. The relationship between our two Kingdoms is that of the shark and remora: commensalism. They benefit, we do not. Simple, isn't it?
Oh, but the poor, good-hearted King Agdar is oblivious to the fact. He takes too much pity in his dear friend and closest 'business' partner, so he does his best to help him out. King Julius, though, has been doing this for years, and not only with the Kingdom of Overland, but with dozens of others. It's all really a lie, he's just a good badass actor. As soon as he forces one of his 6 daughters to marry Prince Jack, he'll expand his country and take over all of Overland, by force if he has to. And it's obvious he will win. Being the number one king to dominate almost all of Europe, he has a huge army ready for action.
